Default unsmoked sisha?

got a newbie question ... since getting a new bowl .. i am not going through tobacco anywhere near as quickly (went from default mya bowl to a vortex) ...

does it hurt leaving the tobacco in the bowl and coming back to it later that day or the next day? ...

i have gone 2+ hours on a half filled and lightly packed bowl ... and when i check it later it is still just as wet as when i packed it in there...

i wouldnt suggest just putting coals back on, but if ya pick through and get the burnt shisha out the unburnt is still usuable.

uhh i have done this b4 on accident.. i packed a bowl in my small tangiers 2 days ago i think (i really doont know i found the bowl on my kitchen table) and yesterday i was setting up and looking for my bowl and i found it packed already with foil on it w/o holes so im like wtf... what is the worst that can happen. i poked the holes and put coals on it. It was pretty nasty lol was like wierd the smoke was kind of harsh and the smoke wasnt as thick if i would have packed it that same day... my advice is Dont do it.. it will only ruin your session..

It's probably fine, I've left Nakhla lemon out for like 4 days after smoking it, and the tobacco was still smokable, and tasted just as good as the first day I heated it up. But I don't know if every brand can be treated that way, it might depend on how juicy the shisha needs to be for some.

Im too lazy to go on a salvage mission.

Tobacco is cheap enough, the good stuff anyways.

agreed i see not reason to rummage thru the old smoked stuff just to save a penny or two i would rather just load a fresh bowl

I will admit I have been at a point where I RAN OUT of everything and was awaiting an order where I would do this.

only time i ever save tobacco is if i packed up a tangiers bowl with tangiers and even then its rare. i pull off the burnt and remix it all if i do though.

but i agree that in general just toss it and pack more up. i usually dont even want to smoke a bowl more than 2 rounds of coals but usually only go 1 and dump it since my mod bowl doesnt go a full 2 rounds with the amount of tobacco it holds.

for the most part i dont get how people smoke bowls for much more than 1 round of coals, even with a bowl that the tobacco is still good in i get some issues with to much heat on the recoal and it just bugs me (maybe i should just pull the coals off and let the bowl cool to avoid this issue but honestly i could just repack and get a better smoke)

i never rummage through tobacco
but if i have to go out for a few hours, letting the bowl sit and coming back to it later is no problem...

thats more along the lines i was thinking ...

i still don't have a 'cache' built up yet of a bunch of tobacco ... i normally fill up my vortex bowl .. about half full of tobacco ... and have 2 CH ql's on it ...after about 45 min the smoke starts to thin out and i ad another coal ... and can go for another 30 min at the most ... then i am ready for a break ...

even after coming back to it later the tobacco is still wet and doesn't even look burnt ...
