holland ql's explode, taste like shit, and smell like balls.
3 kings smell like balls, but they don't explode and the taste is not as bad.
i'd use 3 kings or rollands if i had to...
but natural coals will always be better.

I thought 3K were better than Hollands, and I hate 3K.

some of my favorite quicklights are starlights. They have bad reviews, but i cook all of my quicklights either on a stove when im at home or with a torch when im outside, the smell is not that bad, actually, its better than most natural coals because natural coals smell for like 8min while cooking, these smell for about 45sec. And they give off decent heat and last for a while. but the edges can crumble a wee bit. But 10$ for a huge pack of them is a good price
