Default Time to upgrade, need opinions

Hey guys first post on your forums but ive been a lurker now for some time.

ive been smoking hookah now for id say 3-4 years, my only vice, and its a casual thing, im not a hardcore smoke every night type person and have yet to smoke alone, normally with one or two friends and some mystery science theater :P

now im a big beliver in supporting my own shops and bars around here but absolute horrible selection in hookahs and we only have like 4 brands of shisha and two of coals.
my current setup is a myan hookah(4 hose) of no brand(local hookahbar setup) three kings quick lights, a reg bowl and a clay funnel my hoses died a year ago i made my own home depot special along with a homemage home depot ice chamer (moded a gallon ice cream contanier sits on the floor and holds mad ice) and my typical shisha is either al waka, faka,or walsha
its treated me nice but im ready to try something better

the only online store i use is hookaH-shisha, so i looked around heres what im thinking of getting
-Syrian 2 hose(havent had a need for my other 2 hoses since friends moved away) Chillerhttp://www.hookah-shisha.com/store/p...&idproduct=113
-Exotica Natral coals
-Heba diffuser
-Romman shisha

my main questions are with natral coals i know i need a better heat sorce then my lighter and my stove top is glass i looked into two options A) single coil stove and B)a nice blow torch, im lery about the stove top because it will remain hot and while inside it isnt a problem but in my room there isnt so much room(and with a 50inch tv surround sound and the best seats in the house my room is where im smoking) but i worry the torch my require to much gas for each coal (torch is a t4000 i think)

im also unfamilure with the romman shisha, i read the reviews but im not sold on any one brand, with the flavors i have tried i have not noticed much of a diffrence smoke or flavor wise, just how much stems i have to remove, im open to suggestions i jsut dont want a high nic rate(i normal stick to .05 and ive found i dont like most american brands)

any otehr advice is greatly welcomed and thank you guys so much, i look forward to becoming a more active member in this community.

If you are getting exoticas it is worth the extra small chunka change for Coco Naras... But I do use Exoticas still occasionally... 3Kings aren't that bad either for QLs.

The diffuser isn't really needed IMO... you can make your own (just browse the forums how)

&Romman isn't the best shisha to get started with. Even if you have been smoking for awhile. It isn't enjoyable as , say, a 250g tub of an AF you haven't tried... or the almighty Nakhla .
I would say go for Nakhla / Starbuzz if you mainly smoke with friends. Even AF is decent. But Romman, you gotta be careful with what you get. I, for example, love Ivory Coast, Orange, Bubblegum & Good Times... Thats all I have found that I like.

i was looking at those coco's the only reason i was leaning more twords the exoticas was i read they last longer on avg then the others.

i may go with the AF shisha still, i have had near every flavor (lots of those sampler packs) i was just wondering if theres another brand that had a large varity with good tastes, as far as smoking with friends, the reason i was going with a 2 hose hookah was because most of my friends left and its normally just one other person with me now. but i will look more into what you said try to read up soem more, idealy im trying to get an order out within the next few days.

how is it? see i worry because i have tried american shisha before and i found the brands i tried harsher then over seas, it also seems to have a .5 nic rate opposed .05 from what i normally use. now im not entirely agenst a higher nic rate(i just have to hit less) but how is it compared to alfaka in smoothness?

starbuzz shouldnt be .5 percent nicotine...it is washed so it should be along the lines of AF in nicotine content...

starbuzz is comparable to AF smoothness wise... but I have to say some of the flavours do not have much taste to them at all which is disappointing because they sound good...like sour apple...I have to really be searching for something to get the flavour unlike say AF Lemon which is just awesome.

I'm also AF fan but I like Starbuzz Apple Cinnamon, Lemon Tea and Guava ...

Also check out the 4 Golden AF flavours I love them all, but my faves are Golden Grape and Golden Rose... I mix the two as well... its bliss and such massive clouds.

I'd suggest CH for quicklights, and some starbuzz 100g tins so you can try out their flavors. AF is good, but you'll do consistently better with Starbuzz.

Also, try out some JM. I've really been loving their flavors lately - if you take my advice and get some CH coals, John is selling JM too now. (SB and JM are washed shisha, so no nicotine worries)

what is JM? also what is CH?

ill look into some star buzz, maybe buy a tin or two along with the AF to be safe.

aside from shisha does anyone have some decent feedback on the hookah, ive read almost every review on hookah-shisha but im wondering if anyone here owns one that wouldnt mind giving me the good and bad in more then a sentece, and lastly, the charcoals i got now for quick lights seem to be good, but does anyone know the good and bad of the natrual Exotica coals, and how much of a diffrence will it effect my smokeing useing the natruals overall.

EDIT: also call me newbieish but who is john?

CH is **********'s line of product.

He is my fav person to go to for buying hookah items. I love his customer service compared to others. I've met him in person and he is very laid back

I would like to be another to jump on and recommend you purchase from **********.com. If you are intent on having a multihose rig, he has KMs with 2 and possibly three hoses. However, from your description i think a single hose hookah will do you just fine. If you go the single hose route, John has both KM and Temsah hookahs. I would highly reccommend either of those brands, model is entirely up to you.

Also, i recommend you try some JM's tobacco. It has been receiving rave reviews, and i myself should be getting atleast a small amount of it in the very near future. Also, Tangiers Lucid line fo tobacco is fantastic. Both of these are available through John.

And since you are orderign from john.... pick up some ******* Hookah coals. They are great coals, and very affordable. They even come in a quicklite variety, and they are EASILY the best QLs on the market.

As for the lighting method, if you dont just decide to go with a ton of CH QLs, i highly recommend the single coil burner. You can just plug it in in your kitchen if you are really worried about it messing with your room.... but i dont think it will be an issue.

id honestly love a KM Ice chamber hookah, the only reason i worry about getting one is where i normally smoke makes its very difficult to pass a hose from where i sit to anyone else, this being objects in the way, thats the only reason id go with a two hose, but i am not dead set on the hookah i listed above and can be convinced.

i have decided to give starbuzz a try with atlest one tin, im buying a minimum of three tins(250g) and a maximum of $60(usd) in shisha alone.

ok so how would this go for the new set up
(you guts are terrible, i think ive changed every item from my orginal order lol)
-KM Chiller (one hose which of corse will be a black razen saltun)
-1(or 2) boxes of CH coals(QL)
-1 SB Citrius mist (or blue mist two forum favs)(250g)
-1 AF (not sure what flavor but ive had 90% this is my back up)(250g)
-1 Undecided 250g shisha, if remains undecided will most likly end up either AF or maybe some 50g of other brands.
-maybe a glass bowl for looks, unsure. this setup is alot cheaper then my other one so i have play money.

Looks good, but im not so sure about the glass bowl. Some people on here can get them to smoke right, but for me, the sessions are usually pretty short and it easier to burn. But if thats what your looking for, go for it. Also, with the 250g of undecided shisha, I would get yourself a good mint. Most people on here will say AF Mint, or Nakhla Mizo Mint. Either one of these would make a great mixer with the rest of your shisha, or just to smoke alone and cool down.

i was thinking that, or atleast a 100g mint, as for glass bowl, wouldnt be a all the time thing, honestly i might just keep it sitting on th ehookah for looks, to match the rest of it, i use a normal bowl normally funnel for three people and when i have the cash i use anything from an apple to a pineapple.

but thanks everyone for your opiniond may order tonight so if anyone has something to add toss it my way.
