There all the same bro, don't waste your money on them and just use regular foil. You get the same outcome!

Agree, just buy heavy duty aluminum foil. It is much cheaper in the long run when you think about how many cut sheets you get versus a roll of store brand HD foil.

I was gifted most of a pack of precuts. They are very thin, you need to use 2 IMO. Not worth the extra money.

Yeap, most of the precuts ive used were incredibly thin. HD Reynolds wrap works much better, and its cheaper, and its available at most stores

some of them are heavier duty.

im gonna say for traveling, the thin box it comes in is much easier to carry around then a roll of foil, however, at home i still just use the roll.

one box has lasted me a year lol.

the guy at a hookah bar told me if i dont use "hookah foil" and use regular foil its bad because there are chemicals in the foil that burn off into your bowl
needless to say
i told him that was stupid.

i got this pre-cut foils as a gift:

its pretty heavy - twice as a normal foil i would say. sometimes i use them, but overall its just a waste of money. even though the 100 pieces (~4$) last very long.

i use these foils: http://www.shisha-shop.com/Spezial-A...+50er+Pack.htm
they are pretty good. i use 2 of them for one bowl and you can use every foil up to 10 times (likely more).
1.50€ is not too bad (about 2 bucks ..).

I tried precuts once for no reason other than me being lazy... and They where to small to fit a larger bowl properly... and as said above the are extremely thin so even if they did fit you would have to use 2-3...

Just tear it with your hands, slap it on your bowl, and enjoy. Pre-cut? I didn't even know they made those. Sounds more like a lethargic fad to me.

Pre-cuts are just for the noobs that go to a hookah shop, get told they NEED that stuff, and buy it. I did, and I'm sure a few of us did it as well. As for me, just go with the standard HD Reynolds. Anything less than HD and you are gonna be wasteful.

Default Pre-Cut Vs. Household

I understand that using regular foil every once in a while is ok, but if you're a regular shisha smoker ...Which is better for your health?...Household?..or pre cuts? (which are supposedly better).

Not sure why the type of foil would make any difference. It's fine to use regular foil; traditionally, there is no foil, just coals and tobacco.

I like much thicker heavy duty foil, sometimes 2 layers so a roll is best (on sale even more). The stuff you get online is way too expensive.

Consider this the foil for the house is designed for covering food while cooking in an oven witch gets a mite hotter than the coal on your pipe sometimes. You then remove the foil and eat the food here you heat the foil and draw warm air over tobacco witch you filter through water. As to precuts 90 % of the time the precuts come from the same Manufacturer who supplies it in large bulk rolls to a company where they just cut and given a different name. (will mention Foil pie pans ect as well and Aliuminin cooking utensils)

Here in SA we have at most 2 large companies processing Sunflower seeds yet if you look at the diversity of brand names for sunflower oil and Margerine I was in one of the plants where they were making a certain expensive brand of margerine. they stop the packaging plant change the packaging rolls and suddenly brand x was brand y and the same margerine comming out the pipes. Now in USA how many aluminin Smelters are there and that should give you the indication of the difference in the foils.

o foil is foil just different thickneses exists

Yeah, i guess that all makes sense. I guess those warnings are just about smoking tin foil like ppl sometimes do with drugs...But now that i think of it, the foils doesnt really get disintegrated by the heat, just heated up. Thnx for the help...damn this is a good forum.
