I know the lazy feeling, lol. I clean mine every day, but I do it as Im setting it up, because lets face it Im already setting it up so whats a quick scrub down going to hurt... I feel it hurts the flavor if I dont clean it first...

I try to atleast rinse out after each session, but sometimes I'll slack off and go a couple sessions without changing water. A good cleaning only happens like once a month though.

I usually run a rag through it after every session. Then give it a thorough clean about once a week.

ive gone to a full cleaning before i smoke on my mya, when i buy a KM i will clean it after i smoke.

with the way the mya stems are i scrub with dish soap, rinse really well, fill the stem with vinegar for 30-60 seconds then rinse again, rinse the base out and im ready to go, dry and the port and valve pieces and assemble it.

when i get my km i dont plan on having to clean it as hard core since the are smooth bores but i will scrub it at least every smoke, maybe not with soap but at least brush it and dry well

I use tap water and the stem brush that came with the KM. I give the stem a good scrubbing until the water comes out clear and there's no smell inside. Then I scrub the hose port, blow out the water and it's good to go. It takes me about 2 minutes to clean it up completely.

I'll never, ever use soap to clean up a hookah

Yea, I rinse almost every smoke. It gives me something to do while the coals are heating. But if i am smoking a duplicate bowl, or something that would pair well with it, then i wouldnt.

I smoke nearly every day, and I usually clean my hookah on the next day before I start smoking. I'm lazy to clean it after I use it. I have never had any problems so far because of this.

I clean the bowl after every use, and usually rinse everything else out especially if the flavor was a strong one.

We only smoke about twice a week but I clean our hookah after every use, hate the smell if it is left. Usually just rinse the hookah and blow out the pipes (wish I had washable pipe ).

I clean mine after every use, especially if I smoked a really strong flavor, but I'm a neat freak.

It depends when I smoke. Usually I clean afterwards but if it's late at night, I'll leave it for later. I tend to only take it all apart and clean each piece if I'm switching flavors. The baking soda comes out whenever I notice it still smells after hot water and scrubbing.

I nearly always use Lemishine in the vase to make it smell nice but will frequently just rinse off the rest of the parts and set them on the counter to dry--usually visually inspecting the inside of the downstem (by pointing it towards a light source) to see how it looks. If I can see residue, I'll go ahead and wash everything well. Usually, though, it looks fine.

I'm only rinsing out my washable hose about every third smoking session, although I do take the tips off and rinse/wash them with the rest of the hookah. If I'm switching from two drastically different flavors in an evening, I'll rinse the hose and tips out between the bowls and change the water in the vase too. I only have one hose I like to use at the moment.

Luckily, I only have the little Bambino so clean up is usually really easy.

Lately I fill the sink with a few inches of water, a bit of Lemishine, and some Basic H (an organic cleaner) and throw all the parts in there to soak a bit while I'm dissassembling everything and putting things away, swish 'em around good, use my fingers to wipe off residue, run the brush quickly through pretty much whatever it will fit through, rinse it all off and leave it to dry overnight.

I use tepid water on everything. Mostly so I don't oops and and accidentally use hot water in my vase.

I'm frequently tempted to leave it until morning but the problem with that is that I need to be able to put it all away in the morning so I have the counter space during the day. If I washed it in the morning, I'd have to find some place to let it sit and air dry besides my kitchen. That sounds like a pain to me.
