Default Hole Pattern

hey guys, just thought i'd share the hole pattern i'm using on a mod bowl with 3 easy lites, works great and never burns

Holes + Patterns = heat management. They matter more than you think.

What i like about this pattern is that if it gets too hot, you move the coal to the part without holes, then it can cool down easier because the heat has somewhere to go

Of course they don't. Everyone smokes the same brand with the exact same coals on the exact same setup. Hey BrazilR I would guess it works well with coconut coals also.

Ive never really seen a specific pattern to make much difference. However i will say that the airflow is effected by the number of holes. ive punched holes with the poker on the tong, blowdarts, knives, nails, a twig, screwdriver, and my persional favourite, a sandsharks tooth. Each was more or less the same outcome, plus im way too lazy to make intricate patterns

a lot of people have been having problems with mod bowls on this forum

i never need to move them, i just ash 'em, flip 'em and put them right on the same spot again, thats how good i am XD but yeah, you can if you have to

i don't know, never tried any coconut coals, but if you try it lemme know how it works

Cool, what kind of shisha were you using? I wonder if it will work for a vortex but minus the hole in the middle.

That's the sexiest hole pattern I've seen in a while. If they made a screen like that I'd buy a couple.

i was smoking some Mizo Peach and Afzal Mintos in that one, but any nakhla, AF, Afzal or similar shishas would do fine, i say go for it and lemme know how it goes, im glad so many people have taken interest in this 8D
