Default Wind covers; vortex bowls

Do you find that wind covers are a worthwhile investment, or do you think their impact on your sesh is minimal?

Also, are vortex bowls really all that they're hyped up to be? I can't see how they could make for that much of a better smoke. Thoughts?

If i had to choose between my windcover or my vortex, i would choose death.

The vortex bowl is nice because you can smoke stuff like hookah hookah and have all of the juices stay in the bowl, otherwise ,in a normal bowl, it would lose flavor in 10min because of everything running down the stem.

A windcover is nice because once your coals start dying out, just pop it on, and its like theres a fresh set of coals. It will keep smoking hard for much much longer with a windcover.

Also, i wouldnt buy a windcover...make one.

I would deffinatly invest in a vortex bowl I don't even use any other bowls that I had previously... the wind cover im not sure on, i use one alot but not all the time... I have seen them made from various materials, Im using a tinfoil one right now for a hookah bowl I made that is to big to fit a standard wind cover.

Yess get a vortex bowl, it reaallly reaaaallly makes a difference!

And you should buy a windcover, it comes in handy when it comes to your heat managment and it can also extend your smoke sessions when your coals get small.

I don't have a windcover for my big hookah now (which needs to change, and fast) because when smoking stuff like Desi Murli it is ridiculous how much it matters to have one.

I got a free vortex bowl and I like it okay but at the same time it doesn't seem to work well with the kind of shisha I personally like. If I was smoking the wet, very thinly cut tobacco like HookaH HookaH then it would probably be one of my favorite things.

Windcovers do make a difference and I am sure if you invested in one you would not regret it. I always use a windcover not only because they look cool but also because they really can help.

Vortex bowls are nice because of how difficult it is to mess up packing. I can pack a vortex bowl the same all the time no matter what type of shisha and get a good session without burning the shisha. I feel I have to pack certain shishas differently in a phunnel which isn't a big deal but it's nice to not to have to think about how to pack the bowl depending on what I want to smoke.

Overall, if you were to get either one of these things then you will not be disappointed.

Windcovers are a must have.

Vortex bowls are nice, but not a necessity.

Windcovers are a must, saves a lot of coals and prolongs the sessions without the need of more coasl.

I personal prefer a phunnel over a vortex as the vortex taste 10 mins longer to start up compared to a phunnel, and both do the same job, out of both i would get a phunnel
