I just orderd a whole bunch of shisha is should be coming in a couple of days so I will definently try some different mixes but as of now I just had some af grenadine mixed with nakhla mint. It was very enjoyable but anything mixed with mint is pretty much good.

I've been mixing several things lately, some with good results, some with not so good results.

The good ones for me so far, and keep in mind that I don't go for buzz and that's not a factor in my shisha choices, are:

Hydro Herbal Sweet Rose and Nakhla Earl Grey. Yum! I like it heavier on the rose because the Earl Grey needs the sweetness. The rose flavor is eclipsed by the Earl Gray, for the most part. I got the idea of mixing it because I have some Earl Grey/Rose tea that I love to drink iced. I think the Earl Grey is probably going to be an acquired taste for most people, it certainly isn't what I expected but it's growing on me.

Hydro Grape and Hydro Apple. Mild but yummy.

Hydro Herbal Sweet Rose and Al Fakher Rose. I like this mix because the Al Fakher Rose is rich and full of taste but isn't as sweet as I'd like, the Hydro Sweet Rose fills in that gap.

Hydro Herbal Grape and Nakhla Apple. Probably my favorite mix at the moment.

If I'm going to smoke a tobacco shisha I really love mixing it with some Hydro Herbal because nicotine does not make me feel so good. The mix of the two reduces the buzz and the nicotine hangover isn't as bad for me.

Nakhla Mizo Peach and Afzal Mintos ~ 80%-20%
Nakhla Mandarin and Al Fakher Mint ~ 50%-50%
Afzal Cinnamon and Afzal Blueberry ~ 70%-30%
and any afzal fruit with mintos is fantastic...
those would be my top mixes

I think that berries and mints pair well. Also, spice type flavors with nuts, and or coffee. Or different fruits for a cocktail type effect.

One of my favorite things to do is to get a bunch of different kinds of mint, and mix them all together. Usually, this results in an amazing mint flavor that has the cooling effect, a slight sweetness, different varieties of mint (peppermint, spearmint, wintergreen). And it will smoke good because i add a few drops of glycerine to it.

one of my house specials i call Paradise Spice, take your fav coffee flavor and mix with a banana based flavor (banasplit works well) then add a bit of cinimon flavor and you got your self a shisha to match what you would drink if you had your own persoanl tropical isle,

cinimon depending on brand has a strong flavor so doesnt need a large amont, what flavor of banana and coffee you use depends on their percentage, normally more banana then coffee.

Thats a tricky one, I would think of it in terms of tea, if it sounds like it might taste good as a food or drink it ussually works well as a shisa combination... I would think along the lines of honey or lemon... but then again I wouldn't really mix much with it, Its already a pretty complex flavor... But then agian I have some freinds that always order a tray hookah from the hookah bar, Basicly its all the remnant of mixes made throughout the nite and they just scoop out the mixing tray... I don't care for it but they swear by it. lol

Can anyone describe the 7 Spice? I think I may have ordered a shot of it made by Black Label. Black Label has a really bad rep but the shots were cheap, so I figure I'll give them a shot. So to speak.

I think Al Fakher Grape and Al Fakher Mint mixed together is top. I no you can already get a mixed one but I like mixing it together so I can put more grape in it and it makes it just a littler bit better I think
