Default Hookah Hookah containers

I ordered some Hookah Hookah tobacco (Review of Sahara Smoke in the correct section if anyone cares to check it out) and see that the package has changed since I last purchased some. The very first shisha purchase I ever made was a year or so back and it was Hookah Hookah brand. It came in what the Hookah Freak comes in now (screw on lid plastic jar).

I was wondering how well the "new" (or new to me at least) package design holds up. It looks reusable, but not very air tight once you peal back the foil. Should I put my tobacco in a plastic bag than put back inside of the tub or will the tub be just fine? Thought I would ask prior to having to find out the hard way!

I usually just leave them in there and they seem to stay the same wetness, HH isn't that wet anyway and the cut is extremely fine so I can see it drying out fairly quickly. I haven't had any problems just leaving it in the little tub, but if you want to you can put it in a baggy just to be safe. I also smoke to much to give it the chance to dry out. Its only 50 g's, so I wouldn't worry.

I just cut out some foil and sandwiched it in between the lid. Pretty much the same way it came but using different foil.

Yes, those hookah hookah tubs are not airtight at all. But if you were to put some wax paper or foil on it , then snap on the lid, it would stay fresh much longer.

I peel the foil back just enough to get the tobacco out. Then press it back out and put the lid on. Works very well.

This is how it came when I got it like a year ago in a 50g size, in a screw top jar:

This is how I am finding it now, in a plastic snap on lid tub with foil under the lid:

I like the old way as I could reuse the jar and this new deal does not look like it would hold up with long term use nor it being very air tight. It's all good, I like the brand no matter what they package it in I guess.
