Well, phunnel bowls are big. Even the small one is quite large. First, i would go to the homemade section and look for a scalli mod for that bowl. There are a few threads about different DIY mods, this will reduce the smount of shisha you use.

The diffuser is also very handy. The main thing it does is reduces noise, perfect for watching movies. But some say that it also filters the smoke more because there are more smaller bubbles, which gives a larger overall surface area. But yea, those are some good things to invest in.

Being that you smoke for 3 years, i have a question, what shisha do you use, and what coals?

well phunnel bowls in addition to being bigger they save the juices of the shisha so it is less likly to burn and to me it seems the flavor lasts a bit longer.

and of course welcome to the forums

Usually i just use the hookah hookah brand since its the only thing my local shop carries, when i have the cash its either starbuzz or layliana (s/p), occasionally havanna. As for coals i just finished a box of the ******* hookah coconut husk coals pretty decent, My favorite is the Romman natural lemon wood, i use a "tobacco heater" i got at starsip for 8 bucks, like a mini hot plate

Its rare when i'm not using a phunnel, so it's a good choice there. As for the diffuser, it def. silences the hookah, decreases vibration, and does make smaller bubbles.

Also i see your quote, where do you work? or just a car nut?

Phunnel bowls are a superb investment. Highly recommend getting the small or medium bowl, as the large bowl can hold an insane (Read: 35-50g) of moassel. I did a homemade diffuser, you can get a lot out of the DIY forum. Buy yourself a phunnel, make yourself a diffuser!

Welcome. Always happy to see a new face.

The funnel will treat you nicely if it's a small. I suggest getting or making a mod to avoid foil issues and to conserve tobacco regardless of what size it is.

The diffuser mostly acts as a silencer for the hookah and cuts the rumble of the bubbles a bunch.
