Default Tangiers superchief bowl..

Found this while surfing the web, has anyone ever smoked from it? It's called the Tangiers Superchief, does it actually exist? I must have this.

I feel like there not in production anymore, found a review by Dunkel.

I found that using 23 g fluffed up works the best. I use Reynolds HD foil 1 layer with only one ring of holes around the outside rim (over the shisha). I use 4 Easy lite coals and get huge clouds of flavorful smoke everytime. I get smoke on the first draw and thick smoke on the 3rd draw. I use a Nammor hose too. The only drawback with this set up is I almost have to use a diffuser. The reason is the big bore of the Super Chief and Nammor causes the foil to vibrate and coals to move around from the bubbles. Overall I think the Super Chief is a huge improvement on any standard bowl.

Yes I like it, but I rarely use it though. I smoke alone and I waste a good bit of tobacco using it.

if it's really from Tangiers then I think it's an extinct product and may have been a version of bowl before the current phunnel bowl. I have seen some extinct products at Tangier's but don't pay much attention, and that looks somewhat familiar.

you know those are marketed for parties and such, but in all honestly, variety makes the party better.

i always used to think it was a normal style bowl just with a long neck, if i realized what it was i would have grabbed one probably (maybe i would need to know then what i know now)

i cannot wait to get back to school to get the hookah going more often... gar i need more hookah

The Super Chief has been retired (for now). The only thing large enough would be a big egyptian or a large Tangiers phunnel for four people. At least that's what comes to mind...

Get me 50 cc's of nicotine, stat! Oh, and something for this guy too.

That's such a sweet bowl, funny thing is you could pack it in the center too unlike a funnel or vortex. Might take a mod though.

I've got a super chief and it's my second favorite bowl. Set up is easy as as heat management and the flavour is always very good. Since my typical session lasts about an hour I always have enough to smoke. If I have unspent tobacco at the end of a session I can always pick up where I left off the next day without any difficulty. I'd recommend it to anyone.

Yeah, it seems like Tangiers stopped producing them. I did talk to Eric a few months back and he said he was thinking about making more, but we never saw any. We will probably take it off the site soon if the bowl will never be produced anymore.

Wasn't the super chief the predecessor to the phunnel?

your link is fubared but i assume it is one of the chinese knock offs, it will work alright but it uses a different ceramic (not as good from what i am told) and some times they are made is a shape that is not as perfect
