KM & Nammor are the same basically, except that Nammor is washable.

KM Pro hose are supposed to be larger though, just as DanyalAkkaya points out

Default hose comparison

Does anyone know if the KM hoses have a wider draw on them than the nammor hoses? I am looking at a large nammor hose like this: http://www.hookah-shisha.com/store/p...idproduct=1574

and I am just wondering if it is the same size draw as found on a KM hose.

Thanks!

Nope they are the same, unless you get a KM pro hose, that is the thickest hose I think... but its not washable just like every other KM hose.

Check out this link, it has pictures of a km hose nammor and km pro.

the leather wrapped kms are far more attactive than a nammour.

at one point i made all the hoses in my collection washable,
im in the process of reversing that by acquiring attractive nonwashable flavor savers

The KM Pro hose is by far the widest, but you can get them to all pull the same. I did some tests and if you have a wider mouthpiece on a nammor/razan, etc. (any hose not as wide a km pro hose) you can get it to pull extremely easy. If you put a wider mouthpiece on a tinier hose, it will better your pull. You can test it on a nammor, take a steady pull with the mouth piece on, then remove the mouth piece and take a pull from the hose without it, it will pull just like a km pro hose. I just ordered a narbish and the mouth piece is supposed to be wide, but the gauge of the hose is the width of a nammor. If the pull is easier than a nammor with the widened mouth piece, It will make this observation 100% true.

The tips are somewhat larger but the gauge of the holes is the same on the Narbish tips as they are on the Razan ones. I'm still rebuilding my Narbish but one of the things I've done already is bore out the tips. The bulkier tips do allow for a wider bore while still being sturdy.

Here are some pics for comparison. The Razan tips are in black and unmodified. The Narbish tips are in blue and bored out.

The black KM AS hose is probably the thickest hose money can buy not only that the quality of it is far, far more superior than the nammor.

imo no b/c no matter what in a un washable hose you will always have the problem of rust even if you dont try to wash it

True but until then it is better than the nammor which may not rust but aren't indestructable and have a tendancy fall apart after some time anyway.

The KM hose has a wider mouth piece and the pull is too easy. I like the Nammors pull better and it remais to be seen but I don't see anywhere that the Nammor hose is likely to have a problem, It appears that it's built perfect. A little resistance is good I think. I love the KM and it came with my new tri metal but if I was just buying a hose I would only get one that's washable. The Nammor is a great hose, time will tell if it will last.

I don't know about you all, but I wouldn't want a hose that pulls easier then a Nammor :s It's already very effortless and I like a bit of drag otherwise it's like breathing, not smoking. Sure you might be able to get a bit more smoke, but best part of smoking is calm long draws accompanied with delicious taste. Not when you are testing your maximum lung capacity with a hose the same diameter as your throat, lol.

Don't wash it with water that's for sure, it will degrade and rust. Best you can do is blow it out with compressed air, or move onto a new hose.

Another thing I do is if a hose you can't wash tastes bad I purposely try "ghosting" it with a strong flavor, such as mint. Basically smoke the mint once in a while and it lingers in the hose. Then once you smoke other flavors ideally the bad taste is masked by the mint and new shisha in the bowl.

Do NOT wash a KM hose... You can blow threw the hose when your done with the session and that should get most of the lingering smoke that's left.

KM hoses are awesome! Wide gauge and excellent pull I actually prefer the KM hose over a Nammor, except for the fact that it's not washable.

you can have a non washable hose last you years, as long as you take care of it.
get what works for you, bottom line. my only thing w/ the km pro is i find it unattractive.

The KM pro is washable thats what i was told at the KM factory a few months back. it is wrapped with plastic on the inside take it for what its worth. that it is why it is more money than the other KM hoses.

It is definitely not washable. The hose handles are made of cardboard which absorb the water and deform loosing its shape. I have been through a KM pro hose that rusted and deformed on me. I bought another one that I refuse to wash.
