Default Turkish hookah

Does anybody know anything about Turkish pipes?

I was looking at this:
http://www.yurdan.com/yrdn/ProductDe...=NARGILE_240_3

Anyone have any Idea as to the quality? The price is certainly right.

Turkish shishas have a good rep still, my friend got one from Istanbul about half a year ago and prefers it to his KM... you would expect something decent as the Turks have been producing them more or less since shisha was invented

I just bought one myself, very similar to the one in pic....it's a very nice pipe. The only thing I didn't like about it was the hose. It was cheap...bits of wood or something kept breaking off and was goin into my mouth...yarghh! I replaced it with a better hose.

ohh and another thing I didn't care for the small plate it has thats afixed to the stem....so I just use another larger plate from my other shisha and just place it over that one. Theres just no room for the ash....but I suppose it's ok if your using it outside so the ash can blow off.

That crossed my mind.

It's not the wind so much as my one year old that I'm worried about.

The first hookah is total crap by the way

It is very thin metal and very hollow and weightless.

I was in Istanbul for 3 months this summer and actually visited Yurdan. They have really nice hookahs! Just that one in particular is one of those decor hookahs really.

If you were to deal with Yurdan or any company that is selling Turkish hookahs, make sure to ask if its solid brass if the style you are looking for is like the first one you linked to.

Hmmmm not exactly sure.

Its definitely much better than the one that was listed before. However I am not sure if it brass color or actually brass

I would e-mail them.

Also, when I visited them...they did tell me that their website ships from the US....so if any of you are interested in their pipes, as far as I know....the shipping shouldn't be expensive and wont take forever.
