Default Question about Desi Murli

I recently got in a couple of small packs of Desi Murli and was looking at the label they put on it. It says it was packed in November of 2008. I thought i read somewhere it doesent have many preservatives if any. Think this stuff is still good?

Thanks.

i think you should just have to recondition it with some honey and glycerine.

take the amount you're going to pack into your bowl, and add 1/4tsp of each, get your fingers wet and mix it up really good

Hmmmmmm I don't know, most of the stuff I got was already prepared, but that said it was much later than the date he mentioned. If it's wet - smoke it!

A lot of the newer batches of DM are wet enough that you don't need to do anything to them before smoking. If you open it up and discover it's too dry it's not big deal to recondition it.

Thumbs up Re: Question about Desi Murli

Hi, this is Kamal from Hookah1.

Desi Murli:
1) We have an exclusive relationship with the company and have been trained in how to create the fresh batches of Desi Murli.
2) We prepare every batch fresh prior to shipping - which is one of the reasons that it takes a while to ship.
3) If the label said Sept, 2008, it must have been an old label. We do not have any stock just laying around

I hope this helps. Also, please send over any requests for flavors you have. We have added 3 new flavors in the last few months.
