As long as the tobacco is airtight, you wont have to refrigerate it, in fact it can actually be bad for the moisture/flavour.

ive done it in the past and had no problems with it in the beginning except for it taking a while to start up. but after a while, the flavors went dull. depending on how long you keep your tobacco, i wouldnt recommend it because of the dull flavors.

Approximately 2 years. As the others have said, do not refrigerate it. The refrigerator is too harsh of a climate for tobacco (and coffee for that matter). Airtight container in a dry, dark place is best.

There's a great deal at Walmart 12 piece variety Glad containers for $4. 10 of the containers hold more than 250g and like 2 small ones for like a good 50g sample or something haha. The 2 small ones are useless to me...

im pretty sure the way a fridge works is it sucks the moisture out of foods so i wouldnt put my tobacco in there.

Shisha definitely doesn't need refrigeration, ever. The molasses, honey, and glycerin act as natural preservatives.

This is just a guess, but I'm thinking it's best to keep shisha out of direct light for long term storage. I keep it in opaque, air tight containers, but I also keep it in a shadowy corner. I figure it's like medications or essential oils and that bright light probably doesn't do it any favors.
