Default First successful experience with tangiers and a phunnel bowl...

It was amazing.

About 9 of us smoked one bowl of Tangiers Horchatta for about three hours. We went through eight Coconara coals. Flavor stayed strong and smoke stayed thick just about to the very end. When I cleaned out the bowl, the tobacco on the bottom was even still moist. Incredible.

I'm definitely going to be getting a small phunnel bowl for personal smoking and I'm definitely digging the Tangiers. I love Horchatta. What other flavors from Tangiers would you recommend?

Other flavors I like not already mentioned: Tropical Punch, Melon Blend, Chocolate Mint, Brambleberry, Mimon, Watermelon, Passion Fruit, Mixed Fruit, Raspberry

I prefer Noir over any of their Lucid counterparts.

It took me five tries before I finally got it right. But man, was it worth it. I think it's all in the packing. Once you think it's packed tight enough, pack it some more.

Maybe I'm wrong, but it sure seemed like that was the trick for me.

No, you're perfectly right. Tangiers is less dense than other tobaccos and requires to be packed more. Ever compare how much comes in a 250gm pack of Tangiers vs 250gm from other brands?

Had my first good session with Tangiers today, made a video of it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MdCEJmgz-L8 Try using lucid, it is much easier to set up.
