I just got AF Grape with Mint.
After taking it out of the tub and holding the bag, I could tell that it was very juicy just from the feel of it. I opened it up, took a wiff of it. Delicious, but went on to smoke my blend off entry instead. Well, now, I loaded a bowl with grapes and mint, and began smoking. I noticed something going on in the water in the base. A few minutes later, the all the water was dyed red. I took off the stem to take off the diffuser in fear that it may be contaminated somehow, and began to smoke again. The smoke was now unbearable. Still tasted good, but just too much, so I've put the diffuser back on, and it's going good again, but it sits in what looks like a four inch pool of blood.

A vortex or funnel bowl will solve that.

This is true. I have a phunnel, but I am smoking alone and didn't want a long session.

Yup.
But by the look of that water, looks like your gonna have to break out the stem brush for the next cleaning |

Ha, oh yeah. I already have the baking soda and lemon juice out and waiting.

Nakhla would have solved that too

But there is an great upside to the extra juicy stuff. Save what you were storing it in, and mix the remaining juices with another flavor. Especially if it's in a starbuzz tin. you can just set the tin with the juices over the stove for a little bit to loosen up the juice, then pack the bowl with the flavor you want, then dump that amount into the tin. Stir, and put it back in the bowl.
Probably been done before by some of you, but it's a fun, different way of mixing. |

Now that I think about it, that happened to me too once, with that same exact hookah too. I can remember what I was smoking but the smoke was getting harsh and I went to purge it. Next thing I know I look over from the tv and the water is dyed.

Smoking Nakhla so often, I forgot about the juice water.

Weird thing is, the smoke never got harsh, just without the diffuser, the smoke was so thick I couldn't keep smoking with the diffuser off.
