I tried a few flavours:
Lemon- really chemical taste (like toilet cleaner)
Coconut- tasteless
Mango- really crap
Double apple- I just don't like anise

But 1 flavour I did like- sheherezade earl gray. I added some glycerin and honey becouse of lack of smoke and flavour was OK.
I will never buy that brand again. That is my honest opinion and I understand someone can like it and someone NOT- like me, and I respect that.
Also I heard Nakhla for US market have better quality than for European market. I never did get nakhla from USA and I will never try to do that, because I prefer to get brands like Fusion, JM's, Fantasia etc.

I've only had problems with two flavors so far.
Lemon, agreed..smells and tastes like PineSol
Tropicana, this one has been troublesome for me. When I have been able to get a decent session, I didn't care for the taste. This is one of the "love it or hate it" flavors from what I've heard

I have found that with the overpack method you get monster clouds and lots of flavor. I did this with the fahkfakina fruits, and it had A LOT of flavor. In fact it killed my hose lol ghosted it like an SOB. However, the heat management for NAK is a pain in the ARSE! I still cant get it right. Too little heat lots of flavor little smoke, too much heat lots of smoke cant smoke it cause it is harsh.

Naklah, from what i gather from what i have read here on the forums, is a high risk high reward tobacco. Meaning that it takes a lot of tinkering, but when you get it right its wonderful. I just havent experienced this yet.. lol

i wouldnt call it high risk, high risk is tangiers, nakhla you can get at least an ok session the first time you pack it up, but ya i agree that you do need some tinkering to get it going well some times. from what ive seen you need a good sized bowl, most bowls that come with the mod style hookahs are small, you need a good size egyptian bowl and you will great results

whats wrong with a mya bowl? deep, meaning the coal is further away from the shisha and not wide enough meaning not hot enough for most shisha in the bowl?

How can I get good smoke from a original set of mya QT using Nakhla tobacco?

I had some good sessions with Nakhla Strawberry, Mint, Peach, Mango, all with MYA QT and MYA bowl..

I just pack it quite loose, then lightly press on it when it is filled, so it's a little more dense, then 2 layers of cheap alu foil, and 2 nat coals, start on the edge of the bowl, and after some time move them more to the middle.
I had good taste and thick clouds..

From my experience the standard Mya bowl is far too deep to be practical. The heat is not well distributed and the top of the bowl is going to burn quicker than the rest of the bowl so you can never really fully smoke through the tobacco. If the top layer is burnt, this is going to ruin the flavors of the tobacco underneath it. This is why I love my Egyptian bowls because they are much shallower and broader so the tobacco heats up very evenly and gives consistent flavor
If I had to guess the best way to pack a Mya is to tamp it down a little bit so it isn't ultra dense but still packed tighter than looser(if that makes any sense).

pay the extra 2 bucks for the mizo line. Has the best of both world massive clouds, and tremendous flavor. I have found that it is really easy to smoke tool. Mizo guava and peach are defiantly in my top 5 flavors.
