maybe get a sheet of foil, put it over the burner, and place your coals on it

Get a small BBQ metal grill an place it on the stove. Something people use to cook fish on top of the bbq or something you can place burgers. I also though suggest to go to walmart and buy the electric grills for coal heating.

all you need to do is get one or two pieces of coal semi lit (just the edges lit) then place it in your coal carrier with a hand full of raw coal. put it under a fan. make your head and setup your hookah and by the time your done with setting up your hookah your coal will be ready.

get a screen for the hookah, it has such huge holes it will heat that up, go to the home depot and check out the paint department, one of the metal grate things they have to take off excess paint from a paint roller from a 5 gallon drum, that should work perfectly to heat up coals and better than a screen.

Easy as hell, your stove looks exactly like mine - I just prop the coal stick up bwt the element itself and the outter edge, or balance it on the element itself. It isn't gonna harm it, but may get some coal ash on it.

thanks for all the great ideas. im sure i could have come up with alot of these on my own if i wasnt completely over thinking the whole process. now that you guys have thrown out these ideas it seems easy as pie.

P.S.- Last time i tried baking a pie, it burnt.
