Default hookahs and 2x4s do not mix well.

so this is kinda two posts in one. First im going to share what happened with with the 2x4 then will ask for some advice.

So my dad and I do not get along very well more so when it comes to smoking. I have heard all the reasons hookah is bad. but i understand why he shows concern he used to have one but did not smoke shisha out of it. Any way he has told me more than once to keep it out of his sight (still live with mum and dad full time student) so my friends and i have a good smoke one night i clean every thing up and put every thing back in its hiding place just like always. So the next morning rolls around and i go out to clean the vase and stem and bowl. But sadly i find that my father is quite angry because i left the coals out. I try and say that im sorry and all that well i guess he did not like that because next thing i know my hookah is getting beat with a 2x4 LOL i was upset to say the least.

So now my question for you hookah pros. I am going to be buying a new hookah here in the near future (Nov 30th) and i will be ordering from hookah-shisha because i have around 25$ in points. this is the hookah that i am looking at http://www.hookah-shisha.com/p-3888-...h-package.html. i have been pricing every where i can and it seems for what you get this is the best place to go. My question to the hookah pros is what do you think of this hookah? i will admit it i am on the noob side of hookahs.

I have a similar H-S hookah, the Nile. While it smokes pretty well, I can't recommend it simply because it is of plated common chamber construction. This makes it virtually impossible to clean properly and also makes it virtually impossible to purge completely.

So sorry to hear about your hookah! It's too bad that your dad is so strict!

I've never had a sphinx, but people on here who have them seem to love them. Wouldn't be a bad choice, but for the price you might be able to find something a bit prettier. I guess it just depends on how much you care about looks. I would think that if you don't smoke it that often, then you probably would enjoy a more decorative looking hookah, as it serves more as art then function.

before I bought my first pipe (a sphinx as well) i was looking at these package deals. I ended up buying a 2 hose sphinx because i usually smoke with more people than myself, but this is definitely a great package i would consider for smaller sessions. The nammor hose is a fantastic hose with great pull, and the diffuser is a wonderful attachment i had to buy seperately because i didn't end up buying one of these package deals. I personally love my sphinx, i upgraded the base to a pyramid, which might i recommend is a great option, but overall definitely with the buy. You're getting a good looking, well sealing, great smoking pipe with a 20$ hose and a 10$ diffuser. And with your extra saving in H-S points i'd recommend this option 100%.

It looks like a standard egyptian hookah, without actually checking it, i cant really comment on quality, thats one of the reason i would advice to buy a named brand espically on the internet as you cant check them out, just as syrians, KM's Mya's because you know quality is going to be good more times then not.

And bare in mind you could get the starter hookah on hookah john which is a KM Amer for about $70 with discount ATM

Depending on your budget we may be able to show you other hookahs, but personally i have never tried the one you have suggested

i think you would be an happy camper with this one cause my gf recently got it and she's so happy to have made this purchase, it is sturdy, the hose is nice and it give white puffy clouds so if you don't have the budget for a AF, Km or MZ go for this one absolutly, you won't be deceive.

NEVER EVER buy a Hookah-Shisha hookah. No matter what anyone tells you! These are the WORST hookahs on the market BY FAR and do not deserve to even be in existence.

Buy an Al Fakher Syrian or a KM or whatever. Not a H-S Rig.

**There's an ongoing trend on the forum of "if it works buy it" but I say fuck that, that's the most ridiculous advice and state of mind anyone could have. ANY hookah works, period. The fact that it works IS NOT THE POINT! The point is having a rig that will last you for years, smoke perfectly well at all times, be easy to clean, be sturdy and heavy - Not just so you can get smoke out of it! If you don't care about build quality then why would you even buy a hookah in the first place? There is SO much crap out there, and those H-S pipes are the lowest of the low. PLATED COMMON CHAMBERS, SCREW ON HOSE PORTS, SHITTY THIN FLIMSY METAL, LIGHT CRAPPY FEELING STEM, TINY GAUGE, SHODDY CRAFTSMANSHIP! Don't anyone tell you these are worth smoking from.

Very easy, its just as gd as a nammor/razan. you can also change it into a washable hose by adding plastic tubing to it.

You can get a KM from H-S as well. you get 15% off and $25 off because of your points, so I would go with them. Unless the hookah you want isn't on H-S. I would just think that you would save a bunch of $$ buying from 1 vendor.

Yea then you don't have to pay shipping on 2 orders.
http://www.hookah-shisha.com/p-5366-...on-hookah.html This pipe won't disappoint you

I can vouch for both of these rigs, both stems are rock solid with the one in the second link being solid brass (Try taking a 2X4 to that). They smoke like any other KM (i.e. amazing) and will last you for years.

True you save on shipping espically, but if the hookah you want is not they or ovepriced, you could also use your $$ next time you order
