I've heard a lot of people who say they have made the switch from cigs to hookah and they are better off b/c of it (health wise). But keep in mind there is still no hard scientific proof to say which is better.

As far as shisha without any nicotine, you'd be looking at any herbal shisha. Most others have nicotine, just smaller amounts than a cigarette. But the problem with a lot of herbal shisha is it has sugarcane which is not supposed to be good for you. If you want, I'd suggest picking up some tea-sha from SaharaSmoke.com, that's tea- based and better for you than other herbal shisha.

Thankx, actually i was wondering which shishas have nicotine because i need to ween off it so i don't freak out(i have sevear anxiety issues) I know shisha has less nicotine so thats what im trying to replace my ciggs with. Eventually i'll probably go to the teashas but for now I NEED NICOTINE. Thanks

I'm 43 and have been smoking cigarettes pretty regularly since the age of 14 or so. I've personally had a tough time replacing cigs with hookah, as I had intended. I have cut down with a combination of hookah, e-cigs and smokeless tobaccos.

Shisha tobacco that DOES contain nicotine in higher amounts include Nahkla (not the Mizo or El Basha lines though), Tangier's Noir (not the Lucid line), Desi Murli and Romman (according to the can) and I'm sure many others.

i'd suggest an e-cig. start with the high nicotine liquid, move to medium, light, then no nicotine. hookah will not ween you off cigs if you are a regular smoker IMO

It's also called a "personal vaporizer" or PV for short. It's an electronic device that looks and feels like a cigarette. You put a nicotine liquid in it and "smoke" it. Very, very realistic.

This is the one I have..

hookah wont have that same nic fix as a cig will. Go the e-cig route. Thats what i did, and now i cant touch a regualr cig at all.

Same deal here - Smoking for a while and while i am half way through uni I still have no money for a pack a day (+shisha+coals+pipe tobacco[aka necessities of enjoying tobacco]) so I gave up cigs and stuck with my briars and brass

health wise - i have noticed ...
- I no longer wake up and release a large black ball of mucus/lung tissue
- I am not nearly as tired or worn out after working out

oh and people no longer call me a smoker ... I'm a tobacco connoisseur as one girl put it haha

not to be to far off topic but altsmoke.com is a bit cheaper and robs customer service is impeckable if you got he e-cig direction. but if your weaning you self of of cigs start with unwashed tobaccos like nakhla and work your way down to sb af fantashaia and other stuff like that. but do watch out for the DESI it packs a punch weather your a smoker or not. and as far as e-cig juice i would start with 8-12 mg and no higher unless you plan on diluting it cause even i used to catch a bit of a nic buzz from it even being a heavy smoker for many years using 16mg.
