Default Herbal Shisha

Smoking is never going to be good for you but i enjoy the ritual of hookah as much as I do the buzz and Im about to have a baby so im looking to cut out as much toxin as i can. These Herbal shishas, SOEX and the like are they any good? Are they a comparable smoke? What flavors would any of you SOEX enthusiasts recommend?

Most herbal shisha has sugarcane in them (which isn't supposed to be good for you either). The only herbal shisha I know of that doesn't have sugarcane is HH Evolution line of "tea-sha".

Otherwise, I'd just cut down on smoking if I were you.

IMO nothing will compare to regular tobacco shisha, out of all the herbal I've tried the HH teasha was probably the better alternative (still not the greatest, but at least it wasn't crap), Soex is pure shit (I'm sorry, but it's true), Hydro I didn't like at all either, just can't get past all the herbal taste, some people like it, I think it's disgusting. HH's black label was ehhh OK, nothing to write home about. And I did give all of the above their fair try with multiple flavors and different heat management.

The only herbal I haven't tried is Saalaam, but with my previous experiences with other herbal shisha I'm not too eager to either.

No. In general herbals are not good. Evolution is great but there is something that must be kept in mind. The only reason people assume that tobacco smoke is worse than other smoke is because there are not advertised published studies on the effects of smoking other plant matter.

It's not the plant you are smoking that makes smoke bad. Smoke is bad for you by it's very nature.

If you are concerned about introducing toxins to your child (which you should well be) then never smoke around them. It does not matter what you are smoking. Keep it out of their lungs until they are old enough to partake with you. 18 by the way.

It's damn good. The peanut butter is kind of amazing. They have improved on the flavoring of it quite a bit and the tea flavors pair well with everything I have smoked so far from the line. I am a fan but it's hard to make me turn away from my beloved tobacco. Lol.

I've tried the Hydro line and although it smokes ok, the taste is very awkward.

Smoke outside. Or in a closed room with an open window. (What I do in the summer.)

Soex is shit and all of the other "herbals" are average to utter crap. The best of them are only average if you like washed, fruity mod type products.

Basically no evidence exists that the so called herbals are in anyway less harmful to smoke then tobacco based moassels. What I recommend is that you smoke the real thing because it tastes better. If you want to control the risks associated with smoking you need to a) reduce the amount of time spent smoking 2) treat moassel like a cigar in how you smoke. That means take it slow and don't inhale. Forget about clouds and focus on tastes. 3) use natural coals and make sure they are fully started before smoking. 4) The second hand smoke thing is basically junk science so read up on the links I've posted about that and don't worry about it.

I missed that part. Anyone that is pregnant or nursing should not smoke anything. The same is true for people with cardio-vascular or bronchial problems.
