Default Can you soak a vortex bowl?

I heard that some clay bowls will fall apart if you soak them. Anyone know if it's safe to soak a vortex bowl in order to clean off some of the burnt on grime?

You could boil them, that's worked well for me in the past.

Yes, vortex is made from same stuff as mod bowls and I've soaked overnight with no problems whatsoever.

The only bowls you cannot use water on would be unfired bowls(although I've never seen these). Whether or not it has a glaze, it will still be safe to soak.

I've tried cleaning away the black burn marks on my bowls but couldn't do it so now I just buy a new bowl when I think it starts to look to ugly.
