Default Tired of the same old same old

I used to smoke hookah ALOT. It was one of my favorite things to do and since this summer I haven't smoked at all. All the flavors started to seem bland to me and I got bored with it. I also started smoking cigarettes
I have about 2 kilos of various flavors of shisha and Im thinking I want to get rid of it all and start fresh.

Id like to get back into smoking hookah but i need something to help me fall back in love with it. Anything new I should try that you think would help me fall head over heels for hookah again?

*I have a KM and im not planning on buying a new hookah so if thats your suggestion then please think of something else :P Also Ive tried TONS of flavors so old sb flavors im not interested in. Im interested in something NEW, groundbreaking flavor or something that will just blow my mind!

Quit the cigarettes. They kill your sense of taste and smell and will make it impossible to enjoy the more subtle flavors.

I suggest moving on to more traditional or at least more interesting flavors. If you are not a fan of the nicotine kick then go with Tangiers Lucid kashmir cherry or peach. It's quite a bit different than one might expect.

If you like a good buzz and can handle it then go for Desi Murli. they have flavors that are almost guaranteed to be new and exotic to your palate.

As mentioned, you can go the route of unflavored tobacco as well. I am a big fan of AF Soft Black right now as it is the most manageable tobacco I have found in this style. Very plug and play.

You should invest in some good mixers like mint, cardamom and cinnamon

I believe my long time use of cigarettes hampers my ability to appreciate the subtle flavors. It even hampers my ability to taste some well known stronger flavors such as SB Blue Mist (can't taste it at all).

I second the Tangier's Kashmir flavors, very unique. Not at all what you would expect from a "fruit" flavor.

And...Desi Murli. I would suggest trying out the flavor "Pan". It has a definite tobacco taste along with some subtle sweetness, much like dried figs or apricots with a hint of "woodiness" to it. It does pack a nicotine punch though!

I agree with most of the posters here. I started smoking when I was 16 (I'm now 21) and I have a bit of a problem tasting the subtle flavors, which saddens me as I was excited to join the traditional revolution. I mean, a candy flavor every once in a while is not bad, but I would love to try some more traditional flavors.

Same here started when my friend got a rig from turkey when we were 16, the tastes were so much more vivid then. Right now I like the more traditional flavors simply because they are tried and true, I can get more flavor from the subtle than the over the top.
