Default Pyramid base

I have a mya pyramid base, which looks like this:

I was planning on using it when I got my Double Green Pear KM, but the downstem was too long and touched the bottom of the base when I put it in. I'd really prefer to have a pyramid or conical shaped base for stability's sake, because the bell shaped base tends to shake a bit when I ash coals or whatever. Does anyone know of a large KM sized base with a similar shape? I want my hookah to be as stable as humanly possible. Thanks!

Check ssc vases, they're not pyramid, but those large dish vases look sweet, I just got a large dish as a replacement for my egyptian.

i bought an erlenmeyer flask (chemistry equipment) for my KM, fits perfect cost about 25 bucks online. You;ll need one thats 11" tall and has a 45mm mouth on it. it's shaped exactly like that vase

The dish looks lice, but it still has a kindof rounded bottom. I'd really prefer something flat as my cats have a history of breaking glass stuff around the house all the time, and I really don't want my hookah to get tipped over. In the mean time I'm taking it completely apart to store it, but I'd like a more permanent solution. The erlenmeyer flask looks like a good solution but all of the ones I'm finding online are measured in ML, not inches. They're also not very pretty.

my friend has the king tut km stem and it fits in that same vase. :/? too bad yours doesn't fit cause it is a nice vase especially with pure with smoke shooting up it, looks sweet with the cuts in the glass.

the suggestions already made would work. however i'd just buy a vase protector and put it on a bell vase. they help to lessin my wobble problems anyways.

also if you don't know what to do with the maya vase, i'd buy something like the single black pear km downstem from hookahstore for $30, which is much more likely to fit imo.

SSC Dish would be the best if your looking for stability and they're not handmade so the bottom should be level.

I'm sure it's level, but my concern is that it's round, not flat.

You'd actually be surprised at how hard it is to tip it over once filled with water, even empty it takes some shove to topple it, check valan_lazarus' vid review of ssc sub zero, you'll see what I mean.

2000ml eflasks are ~11 inches, which is also about the height of most bell vases. As for the athetics, I like the look because i think it's mad scientist-y. To make it fit in your current vase you could always make a neck extender out of some rubber gaskets and PVC pipe, also not pretty tho...

The most stable base I've come across is still the Bohemian crystal vase but it will not fit a KM or Temsaah despite being size 26 due to the lower part of the neck opening and height. They are heavy due to the leaded glass, pyramid shape, but expensive and although some are still for sale, they aren't really being brought over anymore.

The next most stable ones I have are some Syrian trumpet vases but those are quite tall and hard to find also. After that would a tie between some wide bell shaped Syrians and Bohemians that I have.

after some searching through the forums, I found a suggestion to use a christmas tree stand, which I think could be brilliant. Has anyone here tried that?

Well that doesn't sound promising. I wish someone made bigger pyramid bases.
