What i love is when parents dress their middle school aged kids in ed hardy gear and send them out the door looking like mini d-bags and the kids just have no idea. Also should you be an ed hardy fan tj maxx and home goods sell those t's for like 9.99

People in Ed Hardy gear are first in line for their Darwin Award.

I wandered into my local Middle Eastern supermarket today (which incidentally, has the best selection of coals, hoses (Nammor!!), hookahs, and shisha I have ever seen).

Ed Hardy was on the top shelf, right above an entire wall of Starbuzz.

I wiped away one single tear of sadness.

It's unfortunate. Something starts out small and is badass, and then every little tool and douche decides he wants to look badass too, and then all of a sudden Mervins starts selling stuff with hella skulls and what used to be badass scene scrollwork. Tattoo design shirts used to be cool too. Now what's cool? Flannel. Flannel can't sell out.

When will it stop! I saw this at the 7-11 near my work. UGH. I hate Ed Hardy. I want to kick him and his promoters in their no no spots. Sorry for the blurry picture. I had to take it with my camera phone. And i had to take it quickly so they didnt catch me taking a picture of it. Most places frown on pictures of their merchandise. lol

Yup, this is getting globally bad. There is a Ed Hardy store at the City Centre Mall in Manama, Bahrain. In the window they have the kid sized clothes display, make sure you walk past with your shades on. At least they don't carry the shisha.

I'm not saying the designs on SOME (and I stress some) of the clothing are all that bad. Christian Audigier is just a total tool. Every EH shirt I've seen has been on a guy that looks like he bathes in tanning lotion. It's disgusting. This and Jersey Shore are enough for me to put a gun in my mouth. Seriously.

I find it far easier to assume everyone is a douchebag until proven otherwise...Although it does make it easier who to push when the mosh pit starts(why he was even there in designer clothes is beyond me but he sure got it).

This is deffinatly an intresting thread. First of all id like to say i like Ed hardy designs (i saw an edhardy hookah and it looked nice) now that being said and before i get roasted by everyone on here, i hate how comercial it has become and how every want to be has the clothes. I personally dont have any thing of his but thought the tin would be an intresting decoration. One more thing ed hardy is just like ralph lauren he took a 5$ shirt and put his name on it and sold it for 100$. My biggest problem is why spend 250 on a hookah with his logo when i can spend $150 on a km or a nammor.

See it's things like that make me hate globalism, comsumerism, multi-culturalism, modernity, capitalism and the mass media/propasphere. What I want is for people to revel in the ways of their ancestors, have pride in their folkways and the mystica conection between blood & soil. It pisses me off to go to Japan and see kids wearing Madona tees or plutocrats hawking pop/rap/techo crap and energy drinks. Arabic culture (or just about any culture for that matter) has far more to offer then crass materialism and souless persuit of some mindless fad. Until I read about Ed Hardy a few months back I was blissfully unaware of the brand and knowing about it simply fills me with anger/sadness. Part of the reason I like the Middle East/India/the Baltics is that trendy vapidness is far less likely to consume and define people. Damn, what a horrible age to live in.

I say we bring back von dutch, at least they were honest about their trendy trashiness, that or just learn that tattoos are for skin, not for hookah, perfume, lighters, and clothes, and whatever christian a. has put on stuff.
