Default Mixing!

Well we all know that mixing some shisha makes for a wonderful smoke, and sometimes a horrible one

Out of curiosity how do you guys mix your shisha? Not what flavors you mix...I wanna know how you physically mix it?

I personally enjoy to layer my mixes, I will put the stronger flavor onto the bottom of a phunnel bowl and the not so strong flavor on top of that. Both flavors last throughout the session but I just find it to make the top layered flavor more bright for the majority of the time.

Just to throw it out there anyways im smoking Mizo Watermelon and Mizo orange, the watermelon on bottom and the orange on top, this makes a wonderful flavor that I enjoy atleast 3x a week. Very fruit punch like =)

the way i make my perfect mixes is by putting the two or more tobacco's onto a small plate then use a fork to fully mix the tobacco's together =] Sometimes I will use the lid of tobacco tin.

I have a little bowl I use. I put the ratios and flavors into that and then mix with a fork.

I'm liking the fork option, so am going to commandeer a small bowl and fork for mixing purposes.

I have just mixed by hand until now, but the fork option sounds more thorough.

p.s. am also interested in finding out about Mizo Orange as I'm loving AF Orange!

I like to mix my shisha in a ramequin, one of those little individual pastry thing high walls very easy to clean came with my butane mini torch and holds just the right amount of shisha.

Regular Nahkla Orange is better flavor wise imo. I have not had AF orange yet but the Mizo is very subtle, very natural orange flavor, a very plesant and sweet smoke but not very heavy on flavor.

I do the layers and mix on a plate by hand. Depends on the bowl I am using and what the mix is. Or sometimes in a phunnel I will put orange on one half and lemon on the other half, and as the coals move around the flavor changes a little. Makes for an interesting smoke...sometimes.

This is how i normally mix flavors. Then i let it sit for a bit before i smoke it so the flavors can meld together.

My band played at this lounge in Vegas, that the guy there mixed the best bowls ever. Not even kidding, he mixed one that tasted exactly like honey nut cheerios, and another that tasted exactly like cinnabon (that place in the mall that smells so good, you probably gain weight just from the scent). He told us that depending on the flavors, he sometimes layers them, or puts them in like pie chart sections. It all depends on how you want the flavors to interact with each other. I've never mixed flavors with a fork, because if you have them sectioned like a pie chart, the heat should reach each flavor equally, if you rotate your coals correctly. One of my favorites has been 20% AF vanilla on bottom, 35% AF mint above that, and then 45% AF Chocolate on top. Another good one, again with all AF, is Cardamom on top, with mint, jasmine, and vanilla below. Cardamom should be about 50%, with mint at 25% and the rest being half jasmine, and half vanilla.

i mix them in a container, after mixed well i smash it all in the corner just hard enough to make the juices flow, let it sit while the coco's are getting warm and away, i find it to be the most effective for even taste.
