Default Three King's Real or Fake?

I just bought a box of Three Kings Coal. The wrap and the coal is unlike anything I've ever used before. The ones I always used looked like this: http://www.texashookah.com/images/Th...gsCharcoal.jpg

I am confused to which is real and which is fake. The site http://www.threekingsproducts.com/ supports the new box I bought with the new ones. They look cheaper and well I don't know if this is a big scam with the site and everything. Check out the "beware of counterfeit" section on the site.

I recently got a pack of them (just one tube of ten or whatever) and it had big outlined letters going down the length of the foil. I have heard that threekings are good, but these coals sucked! The packaging didn't look like either of those though.

With regards to your problem, the coals you have are legit. The website showing the real coals has diagonal lettering on the foil, as do yours. The ones you are used to, are the fakes. If you're ok with the fake coals though, I don't know how much it's going to matter either way.

The box seems like the real coal box but the plastic wrapped around the coals looks different then it used to be.
I have not used three kings since quite some time. If you like I can check if I have some left and compare it to your pictures.

After all three kings is from Holland

Trust me its not the same. I am willing to do anything to buy the old ones. They lit fast, without a lot of smoke or odor. I`ll try and find the old coals to compare with. The coal breaks down easily, its really lumpy and you can`t touch it without having your hands go all black. The old ones were better quality. And these new ones light up with a harsh odor. Like I smoke indoors, and when my roomate complains of something burning, its usually cuz of cheap coals.

maybe the place you got them did the old switcharoo on you. gave you coals that didnt sell. i mean its not hard to unwrap foil and re-wrap it. mine work just fine. dont smell as much a CH quick lights, which is saying a lot

The foils should have a date printed onto each one. You can tell if they are authentic by matching the date on the foil, with a card on the bottom of the box the coals came in (with a specific date printed on them). If they do not match, they are not authentic, holland made, three kings!

The three kings coals pictured on our website is of the old design and packaging. The new Three Kings we just got in have the larger lettering in orangish red. They are both legit real charcoals. Just the difference between old and new packaging.

Three kings is a trademark very usual in spain, a lot of people smoke hookahs with this coals, they are very cheap and dont gives much taste or smell. But I prefer 5 stars ( 5 estrellas), golden river or of course... coconara!

Wow. I just found out my local shop sells fakes (they look EXACTLY like the wrapper shown as "counterfeit" on the official site). Looks like I'll stick to buying Japanese coals from them
