Vortex .. less hassle, easy setup, holds just the right amount of tobacco!

This question is getting a little bit old but some swear by the funnel and others by the vortex personally Im a vortex guy although i do own both. i always recommend the vortex because its more user friendly, doesn't really require a packing technique, a special mod, or sanding of the spire. The vortex is good to go right out of the box just load of with shisha till you reach the holes in the spire, drum tight foil and you will be billowing in no time.

I use a good ol' Egyptian clay bowl for my drier tobaccos, such as Nakhla, AF Soft Black, Contentment, Desi Murli, etc.

i agree with the rest vortex is pretty good with amount of shish, and my phunnel kinda uses to much shish that i can handle. i own both and find myself using the votex more, but my number one bowl is the egyptian, it can get messy though if your smoking wet shisha, but thats what i use my vortex for.

Vortex with high holes in the spire
Extremly user friendly and keeps your shisha moist and out of the stem

Same here, I perfer to smoke with friend/family. I tried smoking by myself and it just wasn't the same.

It's like it doesn't taste the same when you're by yourself, kinda like beer lol. Better with company...most times

Gotta love the vortex just bought a phunnel last week and only used it once, ts a pain not to get the foil from blocking the whole the one why I fixed this is poking one hole in the foil right above the phunnel hole but you get a lil to much are than smoke. Vortex plain and simple is the best and I love it to death

I find the vortex very easy to pack and use.
But the funnel for some reason is much more satisficing but that might just be in my head.

For me.. Vortex hands down. I get the best sessions out of it every time. I have a perfect system that i use for it. I can use all the different types of tobacco in it. I have used SB, Nakhla, DM, Tangiers, and AF out of it. They all smoke great, well with the exception of tangiers. The stuff is just terribad.

My preference on bowls is (most used)Egyptian <- Crown Classic <- Vortex <- Phunnel. I like how the Crown Classic smokes and it also heats up much quicker than the clay bowls. But for any non-drippy tobacco(like Nakhla) its an Egyptian bowl for me. Please please please use the search bar...
