Default keeping shisha?

Hey everyone, i'm pretty new here, and also fairly new to hookah. I have heard a few good ways to keep my shisha (resealable sandwich bags with all the air sucked out, tupperware containers, etc.) but what is regarded as the best way to keep shisha fresh?

airtight in a cool and out of direct sunlight if you plan on long term storage. Besides that I prefer Tupperware as it is convenient (albeit a bit more costly than sandwich bags) to me. It's easier to get the tobacco out and mix it up.
Also don't use the fridge or anything like that

Tupperware fo sho, way easier to mix and pick stems out of. the sandwich bags work but they become a pain in the ass

yeah, i've been using sandwich bags at the moment. is it best to suck all the air out? or...just close it? I may upgrade to tupperware for the ease of mixing and such like you said

Woah, that's pretty hardcore, you suck the air out? I just fold over where the top of the tobacco is and roll out the rest of the air. Hookah tobacco lasts for a while depending on the production date, usually around two years I believe. Air tight isn't pertinent but it does prolong it to its fullest extent. But realistically, if you smoke a bowl a day at about 20g a bowl a kilo only lasts 50 days, so yeah.

yeah, well some of the people I had talked to when originally getting into smoking said that I should suck the air out, as it helps.
