Default battle of foil type

So i use to use regular then i got HD my mistake and thought that it rocked but just ran out and got regular by mistake. It seems that it makes thicker smoke but makes the tobacco more futzy. opinions?

I agree. I used to use regular all the time but since I switched to HD heat management has become a bit easier in most cases.

heavy duty all the way.. it wont rip when you pull down hard when you wrap it... and you dont have to waste more foil like when you double wrap with regular foil... Also it doesnt sink or get sucked down like regular foil

BADdAOW!

rotating the coals has nuffing to do with it tearing or getting sucked down...

the problem is if you seal it to tight or too loose.. HD foil doesnt have the tearing or sucking down problem

i usually "acquire" my foil from work, it comes in boxes of pre-cut sheets or regular so this is what i use most.

Plain ol' cheap store-brand foil. I think I paid 6 bucks for a 200 sq. ft. roll.
Can't remember the last time my foil sagged or ripped.

HD reynolds wrappers are the best 50 single sheet backs that pull out like a box of tissues

I might be the only one who does this but I pull a 6 inch section of HD foil, tear it in half and double up. I've never had any problems with this method. I've also done the double Regular Foil method and it has worked well. The BIG difference between when I used to use regular foil and HD foil is that when I used regular foil I used quicklights. Since I've been using HD foil, all I've been using is HD foil. I'm pretty indifferent on the matter because I have gotten all of these methods to yield a good amount of flavor and smoke. I guess if it came down to it when I buy another roll of foil, I'll buy HD foil because it is my most recent go to.

Used both and usually use whatever I have at the time but I think the HD is much better. It just seems to be negative points.

Since I switched to HD foil, I haven't looked back. Heat management is easier, the foil doesn't sag down and best of all: it doesn't tear. HD foil all the way

I use HD also, though the kind you get in Norway is only 10m, and the regulare one is 20m. Wich kinda sucks, have to get more way to often.

I've got some heavy syrian foils. they are much better, than normal tin foil from the supermarket.
there are havana foils as well, which are pretty good.

no it does not. mad_hatter was correct. it depends on the seal of the regular foil. not the heat management.

my mother owns a hairshop and she uses this pre cut foil for well foils. I thought it was the best thing on earth till i went to a hookah party and had no foil so my buddy lent me some of his HD i will never look back after that.

Futzy? I just looked that up. New word to me, means a lot of things, but it's kind of like torpe or driving drunk. You learn something new every day. Personally, I love heavy duty foil.
