Yep, If there's a market for anything, there's a jackass who's gonna exploit it. There's really no avoiding trendy crap.

Check for your self.

The thing is modern Ed Hardy isn't the same thing by a long shot. This Ed Hardy is shitty commercialized crap exploiting the Ed Hardy Tattoo name. This stuff is bastardizing tattoo culture in one of it's purest original forms and is truely a sin. If you have an old pin-up style or that era tattoo, good on you, but if you have anything made by this piece of shit then I have to say, go F*CK yourself.

His original concept was interesting. After that it seemed to lose it's signature touch and it seemed to drop from a fusion of Japanese and classic American style and just became a flashier version of old shipyard style tattoos. Not to even mention the commercialization and associated culture.

Yeah it is, but it's how I truely feel. From an artistic standpoint, this modern Ed Hardy crap is a slap in the face. It's ripping off a traditional art style and commercializing it and bastardizing it. I have no respect for anyone that feels that it is "cool" and "hip". I put Ed Hardy and Paul Frank in the same category, crap. Just glad the later hasn't tried to enter the hookah world.

Obvious douchebaggery will sell to the trendy hipsters, but not to real hookah enthusiasts, he jumped into the wrong market. Hookah isn't a "dirty hippy" pass time (ed hardy's main customer base,) it's an entirely new world where his products won't sell. Good riddance to bad rubbish. Christian can go die.

Are you saying that most of Ed Hardy's customers are dirty hippies?

The Ed Hardy Canvas and Leather Handbags series have silver Ed Hardy name plate on it. Plus every bag in the series has an unique design of its own, namely, flower power floral tattoo design, colorful tattoo design, ed hardy tattoo,Skull & Heart Tattoo design etc.I like this brand very much.

That seems to about cover it. Its a bastardized representation of something that was once cool that got lost in translation into trendy bullshit. I agree that Ed Hardy, as a tattoo artist, created some beautiful art. But Ed Hardy tattoos and clothing is like comparing the original "Starry Night" painting to the toilet bowl painted like "Starry Night". (I hope i need not explain the allusion)

the best herbal in my humble opionon has to be Evaloution Tea-Sha made from tea leaves!

strong smoke nearly as good as tobbaco! clean crisp taste! all the others are made from sugar cane and they suck

I am in no way a fan of ed hardy hookah stuff or any other merchandise for that matter but i have to give him respect. Ed hardy the man. He is a very talented tattoo artist. Its all Christian Audigiers fault or creating the douchy line of... everything. He ruined the original hot rod culture of the 60's that WAS von dutch. Killed that name too. so ed hardy the man? talented and deserves respect. Christian Audigier? should suffocate buried under a mountain of his awful merchandise.

I didn't test Ed Hardy Hookah, but shisha is awesome! Very good quality - both tobacco and herbal version.

I'm trying to figure out how Ed Hardy got trendy....then became extreme d-bag attire.

I agree that it effed the tattoo culture up...but Christian Audigier was not about tattoo culture...only a quick buck.
