Default noob coal question

does light naturals on the stove make less smoke than quick lights?

my apartment smoke detectors super loud and i get charged 25 if it goes off lol

lighting naturals produces almost no smoke at all. The quick lites smoke because of the accelerant used to get them started.

OR you could modify your smoke alarm, maybe some duct tape would do the trick
More legally perhaps invest in johns new natural coals. They supposedly have less smell/fumes, which is good news as I had to take my smoke alarm down just to light the old ones :x

what i do to avoid the smoke detector is keep my burner outside and then bring the coals in. idk if you have a balcony, but an extension cord and a $10 burner should solve your problem. or you could do the same in the bathroom? theres usually not smoke detectos in there.

FTW! I picked one up today, wayyyyy better than my gas stove.
