Question SOEX PROBLEMS

hi there im a beginner when it comes to the shisha scene, so I have began to smoke with soex, which I highly enjoyed at a friends house, but I never seem to get right. each time i smoke soex my flavour dies out within 5 minutes, why does this happen?

Hi im using the standard clay bowl that comes with the shisha, which is an egyptian bowl, i sprinkle the flavour in and leave it just below the rim and use 2 layers of normal foil, using 1 layer gives me really bad burnt taste, i use 1 quicklight coal.

Double-check and make sure everything is clean, your stem, vase, etc.
Use cold water.
Also, make sure that the tinfoil does not touch the shisha.
Finally, you can take your quicklite and break it in half and place each half on different sides of the bowl. Make sure the coals are completely lit first (Light them and leave them on the tray for about 5 minutes, when you come back they should be covered in a gray coating).
Hope this helped

I lose flavor sometimes when there is to much heat, but it just might be the molasses its self, Soex is one of those brands that most people on HP stay away from.

Yeah I think the main problem is that it is soex. I would try another brand. Check out the review section to see what works well. And good luck smoking.

I am not the biggest fan of Soex but they surprisingly do have flavour and I have found if you use only one coal (break it in 2 halves) this smokes quite alot still.
For Soex use a vortex bowl and don't use a standard bowl or modern bowl

Hope that helps

Soex is like licking between fat hooker's toes. Just something I recommend you stay away from.

had the exact same experience with soex mango. got a free 50g a while back and decided to give it a try. smelled like crayons to begin with, smoke tasted like crayons, threw the rest away. never again!

I've got a massive box with about 16x50g soex flavours in it sat in my cupboard. I got them when i got my first Hookah about a week ago, without reading any reviews on this site (because i'm an idiot). I don't know if i should just give them away and stick with buying al fakher, or give them a whirl to see if i like the soex herbals. You never know, I could be a fan!

Nothing wrong with giving it a try, but SOEX is pretty bad IMO. I definitely recommend going out and buying some Al Fakher.
