Default Tobacco brands

What's the difference between tobacco brands like AF, Nakhla and Starbuzz?

I read a lot about Starbuzz/Romman/AF having 'better' tobacco than Nakhla for example, but what makes it better?

Is it the taste, the smoke, or the duration?

everything. just like there are different brand of cars razors and peanut-butter, they are just all different. made differently flavored differently just everything. so then taste duration clouds all come into play. you need to experiment and try all different types of brands and flavors till you find what floats you boat. because what someone may like you may hate.

To me nakhla reminds me "back in the day" times, but I tried Starbuzz, it has more flavor, , but it's not perfect... To me hookah is nice every time, but it's not great, I don't feel like I'm in heaven while smoking it, I don't get an awesome flavor some people imagine, and I don't get as huge clouds as some PRO smokers...

Its all about preference, try them and you will know what the difference is, flavors, moisture, cut, stems all of those things only matter to the person smoking it, try as many as you can afford

whew hear we go.
Nakhla-moderate flavor, natural color, hella smoke, fuk u up buzz, inexpensive.
Starbuzz- Amazing flavor, Dyed, hella smoke, no buzz, VERY EXPENSIVE.
Al Fakher- good flavor, Dyed, good smoke, small buzz, not very expensive.

The more traditional hookah enjoyer will like nakhla more being as it is more like moassel.
The typical college 19 year old will enjoy Starbuzz more for the flavor and clouds.

from what ive smoked:
*hookahhookah is pretty much emptying a ciggerett and adding water and a little flavor. i wouldnt recommend this at all
*al waha is pretty big cut but also has alot of stems (some times huge monster stems too) and is died and unwashed. it was decent when it was cheap but not really worth the money anymore.
*al fakher is really finely cut washed tobacco that is died. if you want washed tobacco this is probably your best best other than lucid that ive never tried so i cant recommend.
*nakhla is undied unwashed decent cut. its also very dry or at least what i had it could have changed in teh last 2 years. some people love it i hate it po-tay-to pa-tah-to
*tangiers is large cut undied unwashed tobacco that is very juicy. its my favorite but apparently some people have alot of trouble with it.

The biggest differences between tobaccos that you will notice immediately is whether they are washed or unwashed. This refers to the treatment of the tobacco and whether it has been "washed" to lessen the amount of nicotine when smoked. Unwashed tobacco like Nakhla will have more nicotine and a stronger undertone of tobacco whereas a washed tobacco like AF, Starbuzz etc. will not. These tobaccos have less nicotine and the undertones of tobacco are either completely extinguished or muted by the amount of flavoring and other ingredients added. This is not necessarily a bad thing you like more pronounced "candy"-esque flavors but these tobaccos also tend to come with a higher price tag(save for AF).

there is one good brand called Qehwa and why i call it good is because:
*tobacco is finely cut
*smells very good
*very natural and authentic flavour
*starts off very quickly
*require less charcoal
*amazing thick white smoke
*great flavour
*goes on for much longer time
