Default hookah and astronomy

My Astronomy prof. today was showing the class slides from a trip to Cairo he took to see a solar eclipse and one picture had some locals at the pyramids smoking hookah. It was really cool! My prof. even correctly called it shisha and identified it as tobacco, which surprised me.

Dude, my Geography "Lands of the Non-Western People" teacher spent like 15 minutes talking about Shisha. He went over all the different names for the pipe from Hookah to Shisha to Narghile, etc.
He then explained how it worked, showed some pictures of him smoking it with some locals in Egypt, and named all the flavours he tried. Mint, Apple, Strawberry, etc.

I invited him to smoke with me and as soon as it gets warmer, looks like I'll be having a nice smoke with my teacher. Too bad I don't have him this semester... it'll still be fun though.

Yea maybe next quarter when its warmer I'll invite him to smoke with me. Or perhaps I'll invite him out to see my band play at the local hookah bar. We play every Thursday. Anyone near Athens, OH come out! Lol. Had to give my band a little plug there, sorry.
