Default New Found respect for MYA

I used to think that MYA hookahs wre just chinese crap no matter what the reviews i read said. Then one of my many buddies i got into hookah bought a MYA 8" hookah.

Dude this thing is awesome! I was really very impressed. The only problem i see with it is the bowl size. Not large enough for a group sesh. However, i gotta say, that i was very impressed. I tip my hat at the hookahs function and design very impressive. But i give the wag of the finger to the bowl size. LOL.

Thought i would just share this. LOL

Sounds good to here. Only thing I have found with MYA is that they do not purge very well. Other than that I'm a big fan of them especially when you need a travel hookah.

My friend has a Mya Obelisk, it's a really nice hookah and I was surprised at how much I enjoyed smoking from it.

I have a Mya Saray and it smokes well. I just changed the base out, cause it was so small. I wanna get a QT or Bambino for a little travel rig.

Quoted for truth. I used mine everyday at school pretty much when I was in my prime. Any downtime I was in my car puffing away, it was a great way to make it through the day.

MYAs are pretty popular in Germany as are other hookahs that are made in China or made of Chinese made parts and assembled somewhere else.
I have a Kaya hookah that's a chinese and it smokes like a dream. You can disassemble it into different parts and all that good shit.
If you compare that to a KM, it seems like the KM isn't really worth the money anymore, IMO.

i smoked my minimya for the first time in a while (after smoking from my KM), and I noticed that the pull is a lot harder on the mya, i think that has a LOT to do with the hose though

It does. The only hose I have is a nammor and there's a slight difference in how hard it is to pull, but not a big enough one to whine about

I have a mya QT and a mya 22' bohimian globe hookah...I do love my KM and other hand made hookahs, but long after the handmade ones are dead my mya's will still be smoking like a champ and looking as good as they did when they were new...
I'm highly considering getting a big mya 4 hose party hookah now...it'll last forever

Mini Mya from H-S changed my mind as well. Swapped out the purge valve and purges well. Smokes great and looks great with the new base. I too was skeptical but for the price I couldn't pass it up!

Your not kidding. It's a little rude IMO. We have international members so we should be a little understanding. I mean i've been speaking english my entire life and i still make mistakes all the time lol!!!

But i've been smoking out of my MYA QT exclusively for about 2 months now. I miss my KM dearly but being away at college there is nothing better. I can take it to parties and I don't have to freak out when someone knocks it over. It smokes well and it's a pretty tough little guy, plus the girls love the purple base lol

manjaco I completely agree. My friend had a MYA Qt and it was just perfect for the college life. We would take it to parties all the time and not have to worry about it. Quite and easy to set up and clean out. Plus it smoked amazing. Perfect travel hookah in my mind.

I think it's all about the grommet size.
