Default the newb in me/all MA hookahers look

First of all I'm going to be smite 100% for this on the stupidity level. I wouldn't go as far as to say I'm a noob, but I've looked all over the web and all over hp and no avail. Please someone tell me I'm blind :/

When I smoke with my vortex it's good, but I feel like it's not getting enough heat or something. Currently I'm using 2 ******* hookah Nats. Should I be using more? I've looked all over but can't see
to find "I use x number of coals on my vortex". :/

(edited for content)

Thanks everyone!
Cheers

Can't help you about the local stuff. But if you watch my videos I usually say what I use. 3 CH Nats on a vortex or 2 and a windcover. Works great!

try 3 coals, if it gets too hot just take 1 off. Different tobacco requires different heat management.

Yea. I forgot to mention what kind I usually smoke :/ I'm a big nak guy. But the occasional starbuzz or af do happen. And yea nak I tend to load up on the heat while sb doesn't like that. I just picked up a 50g of nak vanilla from (deleted). I'm put up pics for validation

Agreed with all. I found CH coals to burn a little cooler than coconaras, so I used three to start and have a fourth ready for when they've burned down.

Hey I know (deleted),

I don't know what question you're trying to ask about him specifically though. I buy stuff from him all the time but more and more I am just buying stuff in bulk online. I haven't been able to find any kind of natural coals locally and the more I smoke Tangiers the more I like it so online is the way I go.

Well.. Let me break it down when I posted this morning, I babbled far to much on account of lack of caffiene and not speaking English First I guess I wante to know if a vortex required more that a Myan or modern bowl. Second I was wondering if the nak at (deleted) is real or fake since some local stores sell fake I guess. But I'm smoking a 50g of vanilla and it feel like nak. I took some pics but there on my phone So I gotta transfer them over. Just wanted to know if it's real or not

I wouldn't know I've never seen fake Nakhla to compare it to. Symphony Market also has Nakhla but it comes in exactly the same package and looks the same, somewhere around the same price too.

Hey man... if you got the wheels or want to take a cab, forget about (Deleted) and head over to Arax Market.

I went there last week on R&R. The hookas looked like Myas but the whole wall behind the cash register from the door down to the produce was full of Shisha, Coals, carriers, etc.... It was a better selection than what I see here in Iraq! Here is the address:

585 Mount Auburn St
Watertown, MA 02472
(617) 924-3399

Oh and my wife loves it for all the middleastern food and groceries. Cheap prices too!

Really man... its worth the trip in a cab or bus/subway. Checkout MBTA.com and plunk in the address, should tell you how to get there via public transportation.

Symphony and the surrounding stores on Huntington have coals, but I'm not sure about what amounts. Also, I've never had a problem with (deleted) but I don't go there unless I only need one or two things.

If you travel a little further, Linden's Suprette on Comm Ave in Allston has some hookah stuff. BU has way more lounges and bars than Northeastern. I don't really recommend Linden though unless you're in the area. His prices change on a day to day basis and he likes to sell porn to 12 year olds :P

And I'd say for the best selection of hookah products, head over to Watertown and go to Arax Market. Just yelp hookah tbh, and hopefully you'll find the reviews for what you're looking for.

Good luck!

What does arax carry as far as natural coals and shisha. I'm looking for a 1k ish box of cocos and naklha el basha grape, cinnamon, Mizo apple(not DA, licorace usnt my thing) banana, and a few others. I guess I'm asking if they're consistently well stocked and have normal prices. Anyone know how much 250g of nak is, and about a k of cocos?

And does anyone know if that nak at (deleted) is real?

Thanks again, you guys are awesome. I just wanna make sure they got everything before I make the trek over

I haven't been there since last fall since I've been ordering online, but last summer I remember picking up a box of coconaras, as well as al fakher nats, and a bunch of different QLs.

They have practically all AF flavors (including golden), a lot of nahkla, fakhfakhina, fumari, etc in 50g and 250g. Their prices were reasonable then, about 3 250g AF for $30. I recommend them if you're gonna get more than a few things since it is a little out of the way from Boston. Nice staff, who have thrown in free stuff for me before, and they are definitely constantly stocked up.

And yeah, the Nahkla at (deleted) is legit, but he always tries to sell off his Romman for some reason.

I wish I had done more inventory when I was there, the prices seemed solid and had all different flavors and brands. Def had Coconaras and Mizo plus Starbuzz and AF. There was a lot more to it than I could take in when I was there for like 15/20 min. The prices were good for what I got, but again, I wasn't scouting out. You can also check out Yelp like Wongje said. Here is the link:

Awesome thanks. That's exactly what I was looking for. I've ordered online a bunch, but sometime I'm in a jam and need something quick, so (deleted) is there if need be. I hear ya on the romman ha, he's a funny guy. I've went in there more than a few time while he was "reading a book" in the attic of his.

But yea, since he's kinda "these are college kids so I'm gunna sell romman and starbuzz for more than they're worth" I was a bit hesitant on the nak.

Thanks again!

I've never found Cocos locally. With my vortex it's either 3 Cocos, or 2 and a windcover. 2 and a windcover always yields good clouds at a modest heat.
