I never have any issues personally. You probably just need to pay attention to the ratios. Stronger flavors should be used in smaller amounts or they will over power anything else. Like earl gray. i use that sparingly when not smoking it alone but it still takes center stage.

Try letting the flavors 'meld' for while perhaps? You could probably drop a little glycerin in to maybe have some loose and generally flavorless liquid for the two others to mix into.

If you are mixing the OG nakhla "not the mizo kind" I personally put about 30% mint and 70% double apple "in your case lemon" and when i pack it in the bowl i pack it pretty heavily and the tobacco is pretty close to the foil and the foil has many holes in it. I also mix the tobacco thoroughly before actually placing it in my funnel bowl. The reason why i put so little mint in the bowl is because its too overpowering where it dulls any other flavor i put with it. Good luck! Also if you are into Al Fakher my recent favorite mixes are Rose/Vanilla, Rose/Mint, Cafe Latte/Vanilla, Chocolate/Vanilla, Cinnamon/Vanilla.
