Default KM Single Hose vs. Multi?

I have a question about buying a new hookah. I want to grab a sexy KM and i know a lot of people recommend single hose ports perform way better than multi hose ones. But i usually smoke with a good group of people anywhere from 3-7 Would i benefit more from a Single or Multi? Not sure if there is a real performance difference but any input would be great. Do multi infact lessen your smoke amount or taste in anyway??

Thanks

stick with a single.
you can only smoke one hose at a time anyway.
and they do smoke better.
tried one at a local hookah lounge and it was nothing like a single hose.

I have a 3-hose KM and im in the process of selling it ATM. It's nice but you have to make sure everyone plugs the holes all the time which can turn a relaxing session with friends into a giant pain in the ass. I thought this wouldn't be a big factor when i bought it, but it really was! Once i sell mine i'm going to pick up a single hose KM.

Get a single km and a multi MYA with auto-seal

Single hose! I've been saying it for years now! Although, from what I've heard some of the new multi hose KM's come with auto seal.

Problem with multiple hose hookahs is the auto-seal doesn't completely prevent leaks in the other hose ports and hoses.. So they won't smoke as well, because more air is mixing in the the smoke... It'd be the way to go if your cool with thinner, whispier smoke.

The single hose is the best. You wont have to worry about plugging the other hose and you both cant smoke at the same time any way. In my experience the two hose hookahs are a pain to use. When I bring my friends over I just setup my small mya and my KM and we all share.

Agreed. Multi-hose rigs are overrated.

Stick to a single hose Km. if you are going to get a multiple hose hookah make sure it has a auto-seal function or else it is just a large pain in the butt to try and have everyone in your group or party plug it when they are not smoking it.

Not if your friends are well trained, gotta break them in good.
I'd recommend getting a single hosed rig because passing the hose allows for conversation. Also with mutli-hosed rigs you develop all sorts of issues with tangling and tipping that can be lessened by a single hosed rig. If you must get a multi-hosed rig I'd recommend a KM if your friends are hookah-broken.

I agree that single hose pipes will be easier to smoke out of as far as plugging the second (or however many hoses) you have. BUT I've never had problems smoking with friends out of a 2 hose egyptian (8+ people), a simple reminder to plug your hose when not in use usually works just fine (even when smoking at a lounge or at home out of a single hose rig, they still plug the hose ), unless a person is a complete retard you blow some smoke in his face through his unplugged hose and he won't forget to plug it next time.

Also as far as tangling, I've never really had that happen (even with 2 80" narbishes), one side gets one hose, the other side of the table gets another hose and they just pass it amongst themselves.

Autoseal feature is convenient, but it definitely limits the draw.

Km's do not have auto seal would advise a single hose or two hookahs

If you want a multi hose option I'd say get a good single hosed Mya and get an auto seal adapter so you can turn it into a double.

Can't purge out of the 2nd hose in a multi-hose mya.

I have a multi-hose KM. I have a stopper in one hose port for sessions with 1-4 people. We bust out the 2nd hose when we have 5+ people. My buds are all pretty good with hookah so we have no issues plugging the hose tip.

As to singles smoking better...my 2 hose smokes pretty ridiculous. I don't know if I agree. But I will be buying single hose KM soon just cause I feel like it.
