Default KM/Temsah/Magdy Relationship

I've heard that KM and Temsah are made by the same manufacturer, and then today I read "This is a premium solid brass hookah signed by the famous Magdy and Gamil Faris of The Temsaah Company". Are all 3 of these Egyptian pipes made from the same company? Magdys sure are more affordable and from what I hear have cleaner welds. How do the downstem widths vary between these three? I'm pretty set on a Temsah due to the weight and wide downstem

The hookahs at Social Smoke had MZ stems. I will be getting a MZ and a Temsah stem in the near future. From what I felt of the MZ stem it was pretty heavy and solid. Don't know about the relationship of the 3 though.

Yeah I noticed SS sells from MZ products. They sure are cheaper than Temsah/KM! I'd like to see three side-by-side on the downstem

I think if we werent using those particular hoses at the meetup, we would have been blown away. I like the MZ stem from that and that is the reason I am getting one. I think once you put a Nammor on it everything will be better. I mean a lot of people here like MZ and say they are under rated hookahs. Personally, I doubt there is even a noticeable difference between them. I mean there barely is a difference between my Nammor and KM and you can see the size difference in the downstem.

Magdy is a common name.

Magdy Zidan hookahs are lighter and made of all Steel components that look a tad more machined, because of the way the tray fits so perfectly (snap-on). They are by no means terrible hookahs, but the bore is not as wide as a Km or Temsaah. The small Magdy's though are horrible from what I have experienced. They even tip with a large KM hose.

No heavy brass components, or even heavy steel for that matter. They have a nice finish, but tend to have a smaller gauge throughout the whole hookah - including the downstem, shank tubing, and core. You pay for quality with MZ's, only they are built using less metal and steel is cheaper than brass.

The Magdy Zidans that Social Smoke had were ridiculously BAD ASS! I am definitely going to be ordering one! They were heavy and had a nice wide pyramid base. You can see them in the three video reviews that CaptHowdy, Sui and I did.

I remember asking about those. Other MZ they had laying around were machined stainless steal. But the ones we were using at SS they said were cast brass. Very heavy and smoked very well. I am just waiting for them to put them on their site and I will snag one up.

I love a solid Brass Hookah for I know they will last a lifetime.
The Temsah Hookahs are mostly Brass and hand assembled the MZ's are mostly Stainless and known for the good Build Quality The Km's is Are known for their smoke-ability and they have become the Icon Hookah for a lot of members

Those MZ's on SS don't look too bad. I might pick one up this summer.
