Default Cocanara newbie instructions.

I was ordering some extra coals online and I figured I'd pick up some coconaras as I heard they are better than quicklites. Unfortunately they don't come with instructions and I have no idea what I'm doing. Is an electric stove okay? How long should I put them on there? Do they spark when they light? How many should I use on my pumpkin hookah?

I am Remnant, since coconaras are not instantly light they will take about ten minutes to fully light. Flip them over around minute five or six and make sure they are ashed over before you use them. I would use at a max of two on your hookah. They should not spark.

Pick yourself up a single coil burner from Walgreens. They cost about $10, work great for lighting natural coals and will save from making a mess on the stove!

+1 on that. I went from a glass electric stove to one of the walgreens coil burners. Cut my lighting time in half and I can also light my coals anywhere I have a plug. Usually outside though.

1. Put them on the stove at max temp.
2. Take em off when they're red hot on both sides with no black spots.
3. Enjoy.

There's your instructions.

they don't take ten mins, that is overkill at most throw them on the burner and let em sit for five and give it a flip somewhere in between

put the stove on high and when the red touches the top of the coal on the corners flip them over then when the black is gone on the sides turn the stove off and let them sit for a secode to make sure they are cooked all over (youll see once they stop burning red hot) i use three on a full vortex bowl. Some times i turn them on their sides so there is less surface area touching the foil so they are cooler then once they get burn out a little i turn them flat to get more heat out of them

When I light my coco's on an electric coil burner, it gives off a heavy charcoal smell, but if I use a propane stove, it doesn't smell as much bad. Just some info out there. But coco's are awesomessss x10 compared to QL's

You can also get Coconara right from the source! http://www.coco-nara.us

They also carry a single coil burner.
