Default coal ?

i have a traditional gas burner stove and dont have the money to invest in a coil burner...will nats light on it?

yeah they will, you can either rest them in the flames of hold them with bbq tongs

Yup. So long as you can get them to stay in the flames they will light up nicely.

I balance coconut coals in between the arms of the part that the pan rest on with great success.

Get a small bbq grill grid, lay it on top of the stove and you wouldn't have to worry about keeping your coals in place, any store like home depot, walmart, etc.. will have it.

I only got a gas stove at home, and my coals will light on it.. after a few mins the edges of the coals are gray, so I put the coals on the bowl. Wait a few more mins and the coals fully lit.

You can pick up a small, single coil, burner for pretty cheap. i got mine for under $8.00 at Walgreen's Pharmacy. It was on sale but a comparable one at a local hardware store was about $20. So, check around. Sometime you can find them at thrift stores, too. That is, if you would prefer to use coil -vs- gas. Smoke happy.

Gas stoves are my favorite was to light coals. If for some reason it doesn't work out for you, Walgreens always has coil burners for under $10.

i use some metal skewers parallel and put the coals on that
