Default Well I am glad I went on a walk today...

I left my house today at about 5pm. I looked at the clouds, and they were turning grey, threatening rain. My mind was set on going to a local tobacco shop that I haven't been to in awhile to see whats new there.

So as I was walking, the rain started to fall. Despite not having an umbrella, I kept on walking. I finally got to the store and escaped the rain only to find that their prices had dropped a lot. Their AF price dropped $6 and nakhla $3, and this is the same place that I posted about months ago that sells re-package lucid tangiers (in 50g jars labelled deliciouso... apparently they have something worked out with Eric... idk) but since I walked all the way there in the rain the prices dropped, I decided to pick some stuff up. First, I grabbed lucid Orange soda to give it a go. It smells fucking amazing. And on a complete whim, I got nahkla apricot. I am smoking that now, and oh man, I am so glad for that whim because this is a very good flavor.

Now I don't know what exactly an apricot is supposed to taste like because I've never eaten one, but the flavor was staring me in the face. It stood out for some reason. But after a night out at the bar, coming home, lounging on my couch watching sportscenter, this just really hits the spot.

Wow man. That is awesome. Great find. How much is he charging for the products if he dropped his prices that much?

Well his AF used to be way too high. $20. But two other newer places are selling AF for $16 and $15, and after that was pointed out to them, they moved down to $14. This place is primarily a cigar shop, so their hookah stuff isn't as important to them, but I appreciated the attempt to be more competitive, even if they were over-selling previously.

Their nakhla used to be $11 for a 250g, but now is $8, and mizo is $9 (though they only had watermelon and guava which I have already).

wow thats cool. i used to go to this shop in so cal that was completely dedicated to hookah. the guy was great. excellent customer service. he had starbuzz for 13 bucks, and layolina was only about 9. one time i had a dumb ass drunk girl walk away with my hookah hose in her hand and for get it was still atatched to the hookah. needless to say she pulled it over and the vase broke. i told her it cost 20 bucks to get fixed and the guy at the shop sold me one for only 10 so i got to buy some tobacco too!. i miss going to the tobacco shops since i moved to rural alaska and have to order everything online. shipping sux

SJ Cigars, off of South St on 3rd. It's not the greatest of shops, but I was feeling like I needed something new, and it was a 15 minute or so walk away.

Something else new, they had a lot of vortexs, and not knock-offs, they were in sahara-smoke packaging. They seemed to have a few sahara smoke rigs too... well the vases I noticed anyway. Not my aesthetic, but others like them.

Ah that sucks. But the idea of smoking outside in alaska seems awesome. Some picturesque location ha.

great story, i see your in philly. Im in north jersey and i can find areas that are part of the hookah culture not too far from you. these areas tend to have much better prices than you see online and what not. Does philly not have a middle eastern neighborhood?

Really doesn't. All the places, the few I have found, are all very spread out, and usually not run by middle-easterners.
