Default Coals moving?

Hey hookah pro

I smoke from funnel bowl a lot, and my foil is nice and tight, almost perfect. So my coals move to the middle right after they get lighter... Any great success ideas how to keep them out of the middle?

yep encountered this before, get a base cover or like a welcome mat and place it under you hookah, also get a diffuser, which will make smaller bubbles and your hookah wil vibrate less.
Do you have music on with a bass going?
turn the low frequency effect down if you do.
when you inhale, inhale more gentle

also you mentioned perfectly tight, which is normally ideal

but lets use the laws of physics for a moment:
if you put in less tobacco, the foil wont have to be perfectly tight cause it will be ok if it dips down wherever you put the coals. the coals will have alot more trouble moving when gravity is holding them in place.

Ari's pretty spot on. The rumble caused by the hookah will bounce the coals or move them a little. Because of the shape of the bowl, the foil going across will loosen a bit, especially when you poke holes. While Ari is right that "gravity" will keep the coals from moving too much, the inward slope caused by the foil loosening will gradually move the coals to the center.

A tip to help out, in conjunction with a base protector, floor mat, defuser, etc., is how PatelBadboy tapes up his foil. Watch this video.

You can use a Scalli mod, tealight candle mod, a rolled-up piece of foil or the metal part of a binder clip to raise the foil around the center hole. This fixed my problems with coals moving around and I didn't have to buy anything extra.
