I have a set of these except mines looks a little more flimsy, still made of stainless steel though. Cheap but very good. Got it from Longs

They look pretty kick ass, too.
I agree. I'm glad I ditched those coals. Lol.

I got like 3 Aladin tongs, they look like the 'generic chinese' in Darkins' pic, and a MYA tong.

The MYA tong is shit, I never used it, only the Aladin ones.

Right now I'm using meat tongs.
I'll get some free with my big Hookah purchase and be fine with those. I never really cared about specific tongs.

I hate hate HATE short tongs. Maybe I'm doing something wrong but I always have the hardest time picking up cocos and then letting them go. Nearly burn myself every time...

All I've ever used are generic egyptians, they seem to work fine but do have a habit of losing springyness

im with you on that end3r, my friend has these little rinky dink poop tongs i hate em you have to use 2 hands to place em on the bowl i said eff that and bought these monsters! they are jumbo tongs, plus they are also good so u dont get to close to the hotplate and accidentally burn yourself and they are easy to grip

Flipping the coals on the burner is the worst part. I shouldn't have to push the tongs open with a second hand while trying not to drop a coal on the floor.

Which ones did you buy? I'm looking to buy a pair.

Same here, just came with my hookah. I like them cause they can slide under a coal good, and if i need to scrape ash from my foil it has the right straight edges.

I was looking at Hammer Tongs... They actually come with a Sheath? Hows is the quality of the sheath, does it fall apart after 10 uses?

Tongs are tongs, but the quality of metal makes the difference.. I have good metal ones that work amazing.. and i have shit metal ones that bend trying to pick up a coal.. still work but lower quality..

I like tongs with cool designs.
