Default A experimental idea/way to mix flavors

I'v been reading some of the posts about mixing flavors etc.
and some guy partylobster i think had the idea to add flavor extract to the shisha. on this topic
But when you burn or heat the shisha it can give a horrible taste.

isn't it a idea to flavor the hose or mouthpiece. ofcourse a washable hose...
so that you dont have to burn the flavor extract and still be able to mix flavors the cheap way.

just a idea... i'v little to zero experience with a hookah yet

that would be a great Idea to get the taste on the tongue and lips. But I just do not see it giving it the correct flavor in the smoke. I have a crap hose I use I will try it out and see what comes of it granted it will be tomorrow but I will give it a try. Who knows maybe greatness will come of it. I doubt it but who knows.

Ah okay. i would love to test the idea but i'm gonna buy my first hookah in a week or so.
well the idea of the mix is that the smoke picks up the flavored smell/taste of the "extract"
when its going through the hose. so it wil be sort of a mix. i'l try to make a technical pic of it.
well ofcourse tommorow for you :P i'm already on my work. here in the netherlands
Its 9:51 AM.

Ttdr, you have to remember when buying a hookah from the USA, it usually takes 2-4 weeks to get to your home.

Anyway, I don't think adding extract to the tobacco is a very good idea. It can burn too, probably faster than tobacco, so it can ruin your bowl.

But adding flavour to the vase (water) really helps!
I'm sometimes putting Canei (the white one) (It's a wine) into the vase, and the smoke get's a sense of taste from Canei, which is nice.
I tried wodka in the vase, nothing really special happened, have to try that again, although I like to drink it too.
You can add many things, like lemon slices, lemon juice, tic tac candies, and so on.

I think it's better to experiment with the liquid than to experiment with the tobacco.

@Blaat

I know that it wil take very long...
but i still need to review everything and the ad on marktplaats etc.
i'm pretty busy with learning about all the things i need to be paying attention to.

But the idea is to experiment with the hose or mouth piece.
For example you probly know the "euroshopper" limonade the cheapest one. (link)
imo that limonade is Ffin delicious. and the taste is very strong.
if you pour it into a bottle and then empty it and leave a little on the bottem of the bottle. and then squeeze the bottle you have flavored air... so thats kinde the idea...

Yea i squeeze into my empty limonade bottle's at work

When i'm back home i'l fix a technical pic that says more then words : P

Adding flavor extract to your bowl isn't going to work because most flavor extract is primarily alcohol, which evaporates very quickly. You might be able to have some luck using flavor oils. For example, you can find vanilla oil extract which may work. I've heard this is how some people flavor their own home-blends of shisha.

You can mix the lemonade with water in the vase, I think you'll taste tobacco with that lemonade flavour. But apart from that, you cant drench the tobacco or so in it, I don't think that will work.

what he is wondering is not putting it in the vase nor the bowl but the actual hose and or mouth piece. TTDR I know when I wash my hose with a little lemon juice if I don't rinse it out well enough I get a slight lemon flavor when smoking. However if you use the wrong stuff I could see the taste sticking to the hose a little to much causing the hose to be ruined.

I say next to adding different taste to the water which is cool. I like to mix my sheesha. Such as mixing Mint with things. it just keeps it interesting.

i'm indeed refering to the hose or the mouthpiece.

I'm still gonna try it myself as soon as i have my hookah.

If you use the right flavoring extracts they are PG or glycerine based and will work great in the shisha itself.
Read a few of my post in the other thread.
Do not use the alcohol based ones as they are oils and I for one would rather not inhale more than necessary of those compounds!!
The flavored base liquid does actual give a subtle flavor but not as strong as the flavorings added to the shisha.

I'm not talking about flavoring the shisa or the vase/bowl.
but the hose or mouthpiece. as this link shows http://img19.imageshack.us/img19/3415/48385656.png

i'm not sure if it works it's just a idea i came up with after reading some mix topics.!
sin2001 is going to try it out. i wander what the results are.!

ok so I tried it and yes you get the flavor but it only lasts a short time im sure if you had a stronger flavor it would work great. I go not recomend soaking the tip because it gets sticky and thats no fun. But i did get favor but if I want cherry cola I will just buy the pre mix for the fact its alot easier. Good Idea If you have a crap hose then tryit because cleaning it up really sucks. My hose is soaking right now in warm water. I ended up using my other hose to finish. Because I hate stickyness

But thats not fair.
and its more like if your fav mix is out of stock.
you can still mix with some flavor "extract" from walmart instead of placing a new order.

Or if you want to enhance the taste. so putting the
flavor extract in the water and in the hose to enhance the taste.

And you could rape all questions with

Q: I'v bought a cobra hose how to tweak it for a better pull.
A:Or just buy a Nammor, Razan.

Q: How to turn my 1 hose hookah into a two hose hookah.
A: or just buy a multiple hose hookah !

you know....

I know i was just dicking around. Some other ways to enhance the hookah session is drinking different teas, coffees or eating fruit while smoking.

Yea Some pron addicts working there at google, can't blame them.
This crazy idea just popped into my head.
What if you use Milkshakes from the Mcdonalds instead of water.
or is that just a stupid idea because its to thick and wont cool the smoke
Or slush puppy thats like really cold. and has a funny taste.

I honestly just use water. I am going to assume that the milkshake will not work at all, the slushy might though, its basically just sugar water.

Milkshake is a bit like milk.. <flavour, >smoke, you have to use like 20/80 milk/water. But you lose flavour with milk, so no use in it using a milkshake instead of milk.

Slushpuppy is flavoured water with ice. You can use that. Ice cools the water, so it cools the smoke, and the flavour from the slushpuppy can be tasted in the smoke (even if it's a slight sense of taste) so you could try that.
It's like your euroshopper idea Just mix syrup with water and add some crushed ice, you'll get a slushpuppy alike thing.
