If dry ice is used inside there is a possibility for health risks. If anyone wants to try something like this do it outside.

actually I think the ice will melt faster if you pour in salt (lowers the freezing point of water) but the water will get colder until the ice is gone...

Just so you know you have the ability to edit any of your posts at any time. You can go back and change typos as you see fit.

Glad that you asked here before you did it, you know since you would be dead if you tried it.

Salt and Ice won't rust for a long time if you keep it clean, and if you have at least a decent pipe.
And putting CO2 inside of a hookah would be a bad idea, but it might work on the outside of a base to cool the water inside. Might crack the vase also. Someone in the market for a new vase should try for us.

It's prolonged exposure that can really do it but any is not good. Our bodies expel CO2 for a reason.

CO2 is in our sodas and soo much, life is actually based on carbon on this planet lol. CO2 isn't what hurts you when you drink it, it hurts you when you inhale it in mass amounts, when you see someone gonna die in an airtight room on the movies its not the lack of oxygen that kills them, its the abundance of CO2.

you could try putting it in an ice chamber though. it would work (maybe) better than ice and the sublimation would look pretty sweet coming out of it.

I would not try that... the dry ice will form a coating in the chamber when it starts to melt. If you don't believe me then put some dry ice in your sink.. pour some water over it to speed up the process and wait. Oh sre it'll look cool with all the smoke comming off it but in the end you'll kill your sink.
