I don't think one can smoke hookah for spiritual reasons. Maybe as part of a meditative exercise or something, but purely in a spiritual sense, no.

Every morning and night I light the ceremonial incense(CoCoNara) and prostrate myself before the Messiah, Khalil Mammoon (All hail) and take part in the holy ritual of Zaghloul before the mighty God Nakhla.

Well thousands of years ago people smoked to be close to god. They thought the smoke created a link. Ofcourse they smoked usually plants that give a certain state of happiness (sort of speak). But the notion is still there. For myself... I am an atheist. I believe in myself and that is more then enough :P

I find that smoking Dokha is much more meditative. Hookah to me is just a social thing, when I smoke a big bowl of a hot blend dokha after a hard day in this world....

I dont think anything is more relaxing.
