Default OMG HP!!!

Today, i tried soem Nak zaghoul. It raped me. I would love some tips n how to prepare it properly and what not.

My other order of SS came in today.

I got, Naja blue, Dulche De Leche, Tigers Blood, Clove, Cinnamint, and Cinnamon Spice.

I actually just asked for five samples, and i got 6.

I love Social Smoke. All of them smell SOOOOOOOOO good.


I'll let you all know how they are once i get a chance to film myself

Well there's not much you can do to prepare for being raped by a Zaghoul, kinda like asking how to prepare for an irish boxing match against a cybernetically enhanced Mike Tyson.

As for prevention:

- glycerine, it makes it packable the standard way and much easily to get going

- naked overpack (traditional), gothkid and puck have a video on this i believe, basically pile it high, set the coals on, let it cook then hoover the crap outta it to get it going.

- rape whistle

Just adding glycerin is going to affect the flavor adversely. What you want to do is break up a bunch of the brick of tobacco and mix it with a good high quality amber molasses and maybe a tiny amount of glycerin to help the smoke and to help it not stick in the bowl once it's done smoking.

Glycerin is not an ingredient in traditional blends but adds some properties that make things easier to smoke.

You don't need to over pack and you should always use foil or a screen. Zaghloul is supposed to be smoked with indirect heat.

Always reconstitue with loads of molasses and dollop of glycerine. I've found it also helps to let it sit a day or two after adding the new fluids, let everything soak in and whatnot. Then foil it and treat it like regular nakhla. I've found a vortex bowl works great, although the classic egyptian performs admirably as well.

Smoking without foil is not only patently wrong, it has all the appeal of sucking on a diesel exhaust pipe.

I only add enough glycerine to bring the molasses that is already in the moessel back to a consistency more like it was when it was first packaged. Then I smoke it just like regular Nakhla.

Interesting. I will have to try this, I have a half a brick of zag still waiting to be prepped.

I do this also. I feel the brick of Zag I have has enough molasses in it already, I was actually surprised at the wetness of it. I add just a bit of glycerin, maybe 1/8 teaspoon in about 30gr or so, just enough to make it smoke a bit easier. It smokes okay without the glycerin (I use foil by the way), but adding the glycerin seems to help it get going and uses less heat to keep it going.

yea i've used light molasses and glycerine and just glycerine and find i like the flavor i get with just a touch of glycerine better...

I used to use honey but got tired of using a ice pick to get tobacco out of my bowl. Zag took a couple tries for me to get it right. once you do its a mind opener.

i have had batches of zag that simply wont smoke unless you add some fluids to it
i think the amber molasses and a touch of glycerin is the best way to go, also a little bit of honey is nice too but then be prepared to need a chisel to clean it up
